Does everyone else love snuggling a little naked baby fresh out of the bath as much as I do?
There are rules about everything! Even though I don't technically have to follow any rules, it reflects upon my husband big time. He'd get talked to I'm sure at the very least. I'm weird enough as it is for this base!
What are some weird rules?
If Aiden would let me, yes. This kid hates to snuggle unless he's sleeping.
Teagan ate some veggies tonight! Break through!
if i try to snuggle Lucas i get clawed. i have a scratch on my face from him:(
I learned this week that apparently I'm not supposed to walk on grass outside of the housing area and parks.
DH and I aren't supposed to kill and hold hands when he's in certain uniforms. Psh.

what!! do they have a reason for these silly rules?
Well I sure hope not!
Oh, if you're outside when the national anthem comes on the loud speakers at 5pm, you have to stop what you're doing, face the flag or the music, and stand with your hand over your heart. Really annoys me when I lose track of time and I'm taking down diapers.
Ahahahah! This really made me laugh out loud.
Oh god KISS!!! I meant KISS!
Anna, you should make a collage with your BFPs!
I wish I'd thought of that, but I didn't take pictures of most of them. I just wanted to make sure they were getting darker. They are.
I love her soft, freshly bathed skin, but cuddling is almost non-existent here. Sometimes I just hold her for a long time after she falls asleep just to get that cuddling in.
Ahahah! But the S isnt even near the L. LOL!!!!
I guess by cudding, I mean sneaking quick hugs as she brutalizes me.
I'd like to blame the alcohol??? lol.
Jackie are you on your iPad?
Now THAT does happen here. I've got lots of scrapes and bruises from Aiden attacking me over silly stuff. I discovered last week that if I squeal "HUGS!!!!" he'll let me hug him for a few seconds. He laughs.
I wish I could say I was.
That is more like what happens here. But I do love me some soft baby skin.
Well ladies I'm off to bed. Hopefully we wont have a 130 awakening again tonight! Have a great night!!!!
Speaking of abusive babies, anyone else have tiny dark bruises all over your upper arms because of tiny pinching fingers while nursing?
Good Night, Mona!
No, I've got bruises on my boobs though b/c Aiden likes to fight to find the other nipple to play with. I've had to start wearing clothes overnight b/c it slows him down.
“You have a terrific uterus. One of the best I have ever seen. Would you like to see it?” – CNM Midwife to mother *during* a cesarean, while massaging the uterus.
from My OB Said WHAT?!
i have bruises on my arm from him kicking me
Where is Christa tonight? Is she still on the Great Wine Mission of 2011?
Janis, did we kill chat?
I hope so! I want to try this mystical wine sometimes.
we seem to have a habit of that:p
Jackie, I was about to ask where you had gone.
i looked the wine up, we don't have it here
It makes you wonder what the fuss is about, for sure.
what's the wine? Boy, I don't know how many pages I have to go back for that! lol.
DH and I are watching Star Trek: The Next Generation. We're cool people.
Are any of you still getting phantom kicks? I could swear I can feel this kid kicking me, but I know it's waaaay too early for that. I was 17w 4d with Lyla the first time I felt her kick.
Bishop Creek Red Table Wine
I don't know that she actually said the name of the wine, just the winery.
i occasionally feel phantom kicks but not like i used to.
I was wrong. I guess she did say!
Probably phantom kicks. I've hard it's common. I've had very little of that personally.
Yep. lol. We've been watching Voyager all week which I like but DH doesn't.
Thanks! Off to look it up!
Janice, I keep thinking they have to be phantom kicks. I really wish I knew exactly how far along I am! This ambiguity is making me crazy!
Lonleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey, I'm so loneeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelllllllyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. . .
i would think they are. i know you can feel movement earlier in next pregnancies but i don't think you can in the first trimester. you should google it:)
Maybe I would find some smilies. If I work really hard, I can maybe even catch up to Christa. I'm only about 600 posts behind her . . .
I never have much luck with my googling. I guess I just don't know how to search.
Images I can find, but info, no.
Fetal Movement in the First Trimester
From the first few days and weeks of pregnancy (when that rapidly expanding cluster of cells is just a cluster of cells) through the end of the third month (when your practitioner's Doppler just might pick up the lovely lub-dub of a heartbeat), the first trimester is a time of astoundingly fast development. But don't expect to feel any fetal movement yet (except the queasiness, the fatigue, the headaches…); your baby is far too tiny, and buried far too deeply within the protective cushioning of your womb, to make a blip on your belly radar. He or she could dance a jig and you'd feel neither a stamp nor a hop.
I know I've heard of people feeling real kicks about 13-15 weeks for 2nd and later pregnancies.
