The diaper change and medicine resulted in minimal screaming but now she's wide awake.
just lie to him, it'll be okay
I'm planning on it, I think Ronin is having a no sleep day when hubby asks
Actually I think Ronin is going to do better with one nap a day, if I get hime super sleepy and have him sleep for an hour or more it might work better than two super short naps,
Oooooo....fun times. I *think* Aiden is finally asleep after 2 awakenings.
how did DH do with the 2 awakenings?
so far, i'm completely unimpressed with this new True Grit. i wanna watch the old one
Oh and remind me. Those of you who had boys, did you get M/S?
not really. i had some nausea though. no puking
Anyone else having issues with this site suddenly going really slow?
I had all her toys put away and now she's pulling them all out again. Merggggh!
The first one he looked at me and asked, "Do I really have to?" with a sad puppy dog face. The second one he didn't ask, just jumped up. I think Aiden wants to know that we're still there if he needs us b/c he goes down easily. Hopefully soon we can just put a hand on his back to soothe him rather than pick him up, tell him that we love him, and then set him down (that's all it takes).
i can't really tell since i'm a ways away from the modem it's slow for me, but i guess it could be the site
Christa, did you ever see "There will be blood"? WORST MOVIE EVER!
no i haven't. but i have to disagree with you. the invention of lying is the worst movie EVER!
I've abandoned my child
It is running slower. Like it'll be really slow for a minute and then the normal fast for a couple...then slow again. Kinda annoying.
Good hubby! Will there ever come a day when we can just say "go to bed" and off they'll run?
slow here too
NO! The Fountain is the worst EVER EVER EVER!
I am thinking I should really start doing something about a Father's day and birthday present for hubby seeing as they are about two weeks away. Father's day is sorted I know what I am doing birthday I have no idea, at least whatever he gets will be better than what he got me and thats for both occassions.
it's from the movie Anna mentioned lol. That was supposed to be all in caps:rolleyes:
Did you stick him in a dog crate?
yes! DS goes to bed very easily. He looks forward to bed when he's tired.
Maybe, but we have spent all this time talking about how they don't sleep and when they are teenagers all we will complain about is how they never get out of bed.
For Father's Day we.....I really don't remember. I think he got a card and a meal he wanted..... and ummm....*shrug*
Think we'll all still be chatting by the time they're teenagers? I hope to have met at least one of you in person by then!
i like hearing this
I just asked DH and he reminded me what I did. I bought him the BOB jogging stroller.
Hey that fixed my speakers! I wasn't expecting sound and then he started screaming!
awesome!!! see Anna? that movie was helpful to someone:p
Haven't seen it. "there will be blood" is very gory and ends with Daniel Day Lewis beating a pastor to death with a bowling pin.
Excellent present! Does he use it or is it still too hot?
Hopefully! We'll find out in 5 weeks what plane DH has!
That's awesome to hear. There's hope. Just a glimmer, but it's still there.
Hubby is getting the Dad pictures which I will update every year putting the last years in a special Dad album (yet to buy). He will just get one favourite meal in the week because his birthday and Father's day are so close together. Birthday gift I have no idea though.
I got nothing for Mother's day or my birthday, oh sorry he made a cake on his lunch break which smelt like fish and was never eaten. It was also up to me to decorate. I didn't even get a happy birthday until about 3pm.
He uses it 1-2 times a week right now. Usually in the evenings if it's not stupid hot. He's looking forward to using it more as it cools down.
Teagan is pushing our office chair around saying "Ah ha ah ha ah ha" and occasionally throwing a little gorilla fit. Its pretty funny.
No idea, maybe I will have met at least one of you as well, anyone ever planning a trip to Australia
I'm pretty sure Vanilla Sky was the worst movie ever.
Sounds super adorable! At the rate DS is going with pulling up and standing I'm pretty sure he'll be the last one to walk by at least a month.
i love that movie!:p
Good burger is the worst movie
Ronin could be in the running for last to walk, he loves to stand but hardly cruises at home, but then again we don't have much for him to cruise on, and he will not do something until he knows how, he watches and studies others first.
someday!! it's not at the top of my list though
I think of all the regular posters on this board, I have the best chance of meeting Joy (because I go out to CA a lot), Jackie (because she moves so damn much), and you, Wendy (because I WILL go to AUS someday!).
I've always been a summertime girl, but the last two years have been RIDICULOUS! I'm so looking forward to Fall!
i actually thought Lucas would be one of the last to walk, but now i am not sure. He pulls up and stands/kneels like crazy. He isn't cruising or anything, but every day i notice him getting stronger and less wobbly. Who knows he could still take awhile.
Yay, I have been involved in online groups ad message boards since I was about 14 for various things and have never met anyone in real life. I may end up meeting some from a cloth nappy group on facebook one day but maybe not because I feel weird suggesting ameet up.
It was definitely bad, and stayed on the top of my worst list for a long time. But "There Will be Blood" will give you nightmares! And it's not a horror flick.
