Granted I have no idea what our electric bill is for here because it's part of our rent. Of course it would still probably be cheaper for us to pay our bills and a lower rent than the high rent we currently pay. lol.

Anna, do you remember all my posts stressing about moving while pregnant and trying to figure out care here? I couldn't pre set up anything and when I got here they wanted me to wait 2 months before I was seen by anyone with me having hypertension and already on closer spaced appointments. I was a mess at times!

Man what a day I've had with Simon!! He's been so grumpy, not wanting to sleep or eat. Just whiney and clingy! And we leave tomorrow for our little vacation!! I hope his mood is much improved! I dont think it's teething because he didnt realy seem more drooly or chewy than usual. Maybe his stomach was a bit upset? He did have a fairly large spit up this morning and hasnt really been spitting up for a few weeks now.

I hope he sleeps well!!

Mine was clingy today too. Usually she's happy just playing by herself but not today. I think she knew I had to get stuff done. I had DH put DS down to bed at 7:30 tonight, he's just been so tired this evening. I hope it helps.

yeah, our electric bill is only $200 with 90+ degree weather and the a/c on and a pretty decent sized house to cool. when DH said that my eyes just about bugged out. that's insanely expensive. they'd have to give us the house and have no house payment so we could afford the electric bill. i just really loved that house and hate believing that about it LOL!

I'm so happy right now. I'm going to get STARBUCKS tomorrow! Fancy coffee I don't have to make myself! Woo hoo! And SHOPPING! No idea where I want to go after we hit up Babies R Us for my friend (she has a bunch of 20% off coupons). lol

Anyone get an American Eagle 20% off code in the mail and not planning to use it? There's a deal out right now that expires tomorrow. I need to get Andrea some pants but I've used mine. Her step mom gave me hers to use, but just went on to use it and it says it's already been used (i'm not surprised ).

I'm not a coffee drinker so I've never even been to the Starbucks that we have in town. I hope you get some good coffee and some good deals. I think I'm going to bed at 9pm tonight. I'm so tired!

I keep feeling like I'm forgetting something for tomorrow. It's a 2 hour drive to San Antonio. We're leaving at 8:30am. We're hitting up starbucks, BRU, lunch, and then a couple of hours of whatever else we want to do (target, kohl's?) before the 2 hour drive back.
I've packed 12 diapers (half pockets, half flats for just in case), 2 spare onesies, spare shirt for me, puffs for DS, ring sling, Ergo, large wet bag, few toys, and wipes all in a back pack. What else? lol.

bibs are definitely a must for us! and sippy cups are entertainment here too. I did find out this weekend after forgetting Clara's bottles Saturday at the tractor show that she loves to drink out of bottles or cups. She won't take a sippy but gets the cup concept perfectly.

lol. cups are more important anyway! It's been over a month since I let DS drink from a cup. He gets it but likes to dump it all over himself.

what's not to love about dumping liquids all over yourself though!? Clara had one bottle Saturday morning and then didn't get another one til around 4pm Saturday when I found someone we knew at the tractor thing and borrowed a bottle from them. I had one of those plastic formula things that keeps 3 servings of formula in them and it had 1 serving left in it so all I needed was a bottle. Poor girl. She survived just fine though as long as she getting water from the bottles and she wolfed down lunch too.

Aiden has actually cut down BFing sessions during the day now that he's mostly sleeping better at night. Been nice! I know that if I ever have to leave him, I don't need to bother pumping milk at all. He'd survive on food. Smile

I'm okay. I've been busy feeling like crap. It's not really m/s, since I'm not really nauseaus very much. I think it's mostly smell sensitivity. Nearly every smell just makes me feel sooo yucky. Like I'm coming down with the flu.

Christa, Our electric runs around $300 right now with the AC set to 78* 24/7. Our house is under 2000 sqaure foot, so I could see that being right if the utilities were being used all the time, but for an empty house it's ridiculous.

mine certainly wouldn't!!! he has about 4 6oz bottles a day still and sometimes one in the night. He would starve if he was only on table food

Isn't that a nice feeling!? I remember that when DS was little. It's also nice to know if I ever run off and forget bottles again, Clara will survive. We forgot several things Saturday though

Yep, DS would survive. He'd be grumpy after about 6-7 hours but he'd live. Of course I never really leave DS. lol.

Lyla is like that too. Since she was 4 months old she'd rather drink out of a real cup than a sippy. But I can't just hand her a cup of water, she'd dump it out on herself and then knaw on the bottom of the cup.

Bibs haven't been used at all in our house in a while. She rips it off immediately! And even if she doesn't, she's so messy that she'll get everything all over her around the bib. She'd need something like a little baby hazmat suit if I wanted to keep food off of her.

Anna, I've been using bibs like these. He can't rip them off and they cover more. I have one HUGE one that I love. It covers from elbow to elbow and all the way down to his knees. It's fantastic. I got it from etsy. I'm sure you could easily make them!

Thanks ladies! I was really hoping that I'd escape all the crappy feeling stuff this time, but no such luck. I nearly lost my lunch today, but I think that was more because I ate too much and then immediately got too active dealing with Lyla. I haven't really felt :puke2:. It's hard to explain, but I don't even get to where I can really get around good until about 2pm! part of me feels glad that I'm feeling yucky though, cause it means that things are coming along okay.

That picture is adorable but I'm pretty sure Clara's not sitting still like that unless she's asleep.

Oh, wow, can't believe I forgot to tell you guys. Clara pulled herself up to the walker today and stood up. No one saw her actually do it as we were making supper but we all saw her standing there. It was great and terrifying Biggrin

I have one of those SIL found at a garage sale, but even that doesn't work because she's constantly tugging and pulling at it and gets it all moved to the side. She's horribly messy. She digs her hands in whatever she's eating. If we hold her hands back to spoon feed her she'll stick her fingers in her mouth after the food is in there and then wipe her hands on everything. She also still spits out most of her food. By the time she's done eating, she's covered from the top of her head to her feet and I have no idea how she manages to get food on her back and butt!

I'm pretending that there's no way I could have m/s while dealing with DS and moving. It's a great delusion.
I definitely O'd this weekend. Let's hope poor BDing positioning Thursday and Sunday nights were enough. ROFL
