TTC status: Waiting but wanting
If TTC, what's your game plan (JLIH, full-on charting etc.)?: It'll be mostly JLIH with occasional glancing at my period tracker app.
Is your TTC method different this time?: I temped and charted last time. That was stressful because it took nearly a year. Not planning on doing that again because my cycles are so regular.
If waiting, when are you hoping for a green light?: I'm hoping to start in November. Though if we were able to time it for a Summer 2013 baby that might be better timing. Timing has never worked out for us so that's probably not a good idea.
Have you been lurking on the TTC boards or the BFP wave?: yes
How many more kids do you want?: Just one more. DH and I are both happy with the idea of two. DH is getting snipped when he turns 40 (he's nearly 33 now).
Does seeing newborns make your ovaries itch?: OMG yes. Everyone around me is having flipping babies.
Are you super excited to get pregnant again?: No. Despite having a relatively easy pregnancy, I'm not one of those women who likes being pregnant. I'm terrified of having 23 weeks of non stop m/s again.
Are you super excited to give birth again?: Yes! I'm weird, I know. If I could trade my pregnancy for giving birth tomorrow, I would.
When/if you have another kid, will he/she share a room with your current LO(s)?: New baby will have to share a room with Teagan when he/she transitions out of our room around the 1 year mark. They'll have to share at least until we move ... which could be 6 years or so.
Will having another child change whether or not you work outside the home?: Nope. Next baby will likely come while we're both still in grad school. Yay.

TTC status: Still unsure. Sometimes I want 1 more, sometimes I'm content. We haven't been as careful with the BC as we should be. My BFing cycles are bizarro making it hard to track O time, so an ooops wouldn't be out of the question. DH says he's done, but like I said, if he really doesn't want another he's not doing so well at avoiding.
If TTC, what's your game plan (JLIH, full-on charting etc.)?: I use charting for NFP anyway.
Is your TTC method different this time?: No
If waiting, when are you hoping for a green light?: Unsure. Ideally, I guess we would probably start now but I really should drop 15 lbs first. And that's assuming that we're going to TTC.....
Have you been lurking on the TTC boards or the BFP wave?: Yes! But I always lurk when bored.
How many more kids do you want?: No more than 1 more. 3 total is our absolute limit. DH is getting snipped when we're absolutely sure we're done, whether he likes it or not.

Are you super excited to get pregnant again?: Meh.
Are you super excited to give birth again?: Yes! I love childbirth! After my last birth though, we'd have to figure out a game plan. I say homebirth....
When/if you have another kid, will he/she share a room with your current LO(s)?: DDs 1 & 2 would have to share.
Will having another child change whether or not you work outside the home?: My dream is to be able to stay home, so I hope so!

Does seeing newborns make your ovaries itch?: oh no! It is weird. Seeing babies do not give me those butterflies anymore... I think of all the hard work lol.. oh and the fighting, can't forget the fighting

Will having another child change whether or not you work outside the home?: if we were to have another I would most likley need to be already employed or go find myself a job. mainly because we would have to either start to buy a house/rent one.. or rent a bigger apartment which is pretty pricey when you are used to living like we are.

TTC status: Waiting but really badly wanting
If TTC, what's your game plan (JLIH, full-on charting etc.)?: Seeing as Ronin doesn't sleep charting is out of the question so I will be using OPK's as I really want to have my next one before the school cutoff age for that year.
Is your TTC method different this time?:A little, I used OPKs with Ronin because it was my first cycle charting and I wanted to be able to confirm temps and O for the first couple of months to ensure I got the hang of charting
If waiting, when are you hoping for a green light?: My plan may be changing so unsure, it was September
If done, did you always plan on having the number of kids you have?:
Have you been lurking on the TTC boards or the BFP wave?:Not really, I am over on the Think of Conceiving board though
How many more kids do you want?:3
Does seeing newborns make your ovaries itch?:Yes
Are you super excited to get pregnant again?:Yes, I loved being pregnant apart from the spotting from 9-22 weeks and the worry that caused, the rest of pregnancy I loved though.
Are you super excited to give birth again?: Yes, I am so excited for a VBAC
When/if you have another kid, will he/she share a room with your current LO(s)?:Probably not. We have the nursery, then another bedroom other than Ronin's room, however we may move Ronin's room when the next baby goes into a big kid room as the other bedroom isn't as close to our room so may be more suited to an older child.
Will having another child change whether or not you work outside the home?: Nope, I will still have to work. I guess some of it depends on hubby's plans once he finishes his appreticeship as well.

Can I play? I hope so. Hi, my name is Leigh, and I'm a pg.org addict (from the now-dissolved June 2010 board, although DD is actually a July baby)...almost everyone I know on pg.org is on this board so hopefully you won't mind me chatting over here a bit! I have a desk job...

TTC status: Waiting but pretty sure we're done.
If TTC, what's your game plan (JLIH, full-on charting etc.)?: I've always gotten pg on my first try (has not always stuck) so JLIH works for me...
Is your TTC method different this time?: Unlikely, unless it takes a long time. Then I might try some charting.
If waiting, when are you hoping for a green light?: We agreed to discuss it and make some kind of decision when DD is around 3 (so, next summer). We don't want two babies at once, but we also don't want to be in the baby stage forever, so that seems like a good spread if we decide to go for it.
If done, did you always plan on having the number of kids you have?: I always used to think I wanted more, but now that it's real and not abstract (both from seeing other families and experiencing having one myself) I'm really pretty convinced that a small family fits our personalities and financial reality better than a bigger family would.
Have you been lurking on the TTC boards or the BFP wave?: No, but I do hang out on Birthing Naturally
How many more kids do you want?: If any, just one more for sure.
Does seeing newborns make your ovaries itch?: Not itch exactly. Maybe whisper.
Are you super excited to get pregnant again?: The pregnancy part I actually wouldn't mind at all. It's exciting!
Are you super excited to give birth again?: Not really...my labor was super long and intense, and I got my NCB, so...I'm good.
When/if you have another kid, will he/she share a room with your current LO(s)?: Since there is no way we will be able to move anytime in the next several years, and then only if several major "ifs" fall into line...yes.
Will having another child change whether or not you work outside the home?: That's one big reason I am not sure we want another...I am just getting my career momentum back on track, and we can't really afford two in great daycare...it would be a huge question.

Yay! Leigh's here! Of course you're welcome here. I've been wanting to dive into the Parents of 2010 Kids boards but I don't want this one to die if I do my chatting there. Since you'll be discussing the idea of a #2 next summer that's even more reason for me to be pregnant by next summer. Perhaps jiggling my bump in your face will push you over the TTC ledge. Don't let 2 in daycare scare you. If you wait until Addy's 3 to TTC, then she'll be 4ish by the time baby #2 goes to daycare and that's allllmost Kindergarten time. Temple will give you a discount for #2, the pre-K tuition is less than the toddler room, AND they'll skim some of the cost off if you volunteer. I just went to Lyn to ask about tuition in the event we need to cut down to 3 days per week and she made it quite clear that they'll work with us.

I haven't once ventured over to the Parents of 2010 board. I kinda feel like I'm on enough boards chatting away like crazy.
