    Default Favorite Non-toys

We all know that your LO could have a million baby toys but will still go for the 'non-toy' item most of the time. Doesn't it always work that way? So what are some of the favorites? Remote, keys, pet bowl? Lets share.

Anything he can get his hands on, today it's his hair brush, the roomba room divider and some screwed up packing tape. Yesterday it was the cat bowl and some artificial flowers.

    Odin loves:

    measuring cups
    measuring spoons
    plastic strawberry baskets
    Rings from my canning jars
    Hand held orange/lemon juicer
    Wooden spoons
    Drinking cups
    DH's alarm clock
    Silky ribbon scraps
    Any containers with hinged lids
The hinged lid to DS1's thermos
    My hairbrush
    The remote

Though we got a handful of baby toys at baby shower gifts I really only bought 2 wood teethers this time around. I'm so glad I didn't go wild on toys with baby 2 like we did with baby 1.

Can I just say that I love that it's us West Coast girls and the Aussie all up on PG.org late this evening? Yeah, I've been drinking

    Teagan's favorite non-toy items:
    My laptop
    Remotes
    Anything paper
Boxes of any shape or size
Muffin tins, cooling rack, broiling pan (basically anything I keep on the "baby safe" shelf in the kitchen)
My car keys. Not DH's. Mine has the fob. It sets the car alarm off. She likes that.
    Doors
    Cat food plate
    Cat
    Dog bed (ewww)
    My calves

Yay for drinking, have one for me. I don't get to drink at all these days because of hubby working stupid hours. It's only mid afternoon here, so not too late for me

It's not even that late here yet (11 pm). I'm just playing with fire staying up later than Teagan. I might even be super crazy and sleep in the same bed as DH tonight. He's been sleeping in Teagan's room this past year or so. It is, after all, our anniversary tomorrow. Maybe Teagan will be nice to her parents and let them sleep in her room ALONE tonight. Yeah right.

    What were we talking about?

    I 2nd the birthday drink!

Woo Hoo Erin, sleeping in the same bed with DH!!!! That will be a nice early anniversary present!

My Dh is at a poker thing tonight so I'm totally having me time. I'm scared to go up to bed cause Odin can basically smell me coming up the stairs, lol, and I'm not ready for our nightly marathon nurse/sleep.
