Feeling old! (grey hair ment.)

Okay, so I'm sure that some of this is related to feeling fat and ugly because I just had a baby and now I'm fat and ugly, but I've noticed a LOT more grey hair in recent days. I'm only 31!!! My parents (either one) didn't get grey hair until they were in their forties! And even at dad's funeral last month, people were commenting on how few grey hair my dad had at 52. I think I have just as much grey as my 53 year old mom.

Of course, being so tired all the time and still recovering from surgery don't do much to help make me feel young either! Blum 3

Anyone else feeling unfairly grey? Should I color my hair? I'm not sure I want to start that little maintenance to-do. . .

If it makes you feel any better my grandfather had completely gray hair by his mid 20s! I'm pretty sure my mom has a fair amount of gray, only you'll never see it because she dyes her hair still. I wonder if more people have gray hairs and just don't tell anybody - they just dye them.

I wonder this too. I remember being shocked that a close friend had been dying her hair for years because of grey hairs. She was in her early 30's when she started.

I personally could do the up keeP of regular dying. I'll just proudly sport the salt and pepper look at some pOint.

My MIL was complety grey by her early 20's. Hers was partly stress related I believe. I hope I ahve my Mum's hair genes she has only a few, but I dod think most people hide it by colouring their hair

I refuse to acknowledge the grey hair I found not too long ago. I fear going grey because I'm not going to have that lovely salt and pepper grey. My mom & all my aunts & grandmothers dye their hair. I probably will too unless I grey nicely, which I won't. Its going to be washed out blonde. My Dad rocks the pepper grey quite nicely and so does his GF.

I feel old in other ways. Like when I was lying on the couch today complaining about hip pains. That makes me feel old. When I'm in pain like this I feel really motivated to start training for a marathon or something. Too bad that motivation dissipates as soon as the pain does.

i did find a grey hair about a year ago and almost cried. i havn't seen it since, weird? I am now wondering if it was one of my blonde highlights Lol it looked pretty grey though.

I would start dying it if i went grey, but I am vain about that stuff. My dad went grey pretty early, he is in his mid 50's and is almost completely white now.

My DH started going grey when he was about 24. But his hair is so blonde as long as he keeps it short you can't see it. I don't have greys yet, but if (when?) I do, I will probably color it. My dad has great hair and few greys, so I hope I have his hair.

What is your natural colour?
I am blond, and I have noticed that my shampoo has a big impact on the colour of my hair and the grey. Anything blue or green, like Head and Shoulders, will make my hair look really grey. A white, or clear one will make my hair look more blond.

I've been trying to embrace my platnum blond highlights.

I noticed my first grey hairs when I was about 22. But they havent increased in number since, I still have the same 5 I noticed then. LOL!!My father greyed early but my Mom who is in her mid sixties is still doing pretty good, definitely some salt and pepper though.

OH! Simon has a grey hair! It's not blonde, it's grey!!! I have to try to get a pic but I'm not sure it will show.

I'm 28 and my grey hair number is rising on a daily basis!! I remember my mum being completely grey when I was about 5 so she was about 40 and she used to dye it. I don't think I'm really that bothered TBH. It's going to happen eventually Smile

My dad is 71 and has hardly any grey hair (he doesn't have much hair at all LOL but the few strands he does have are black)

I thankfully have not found one...yet.. I will color my hair though, heck already do and have off and on for years. It's cheap if you do it at home, especially if you just need the root touch up stuff.
My old moment: My 10 year HS reunion is in July. Talk about old. Yikes!

Mine was two years ago and all of 3 people out of my class of about 100 went. Lame! At least I had a valid excuse (pregnant & living 2500 miles away). A ton of my classmates still live very near to where the event was held. Losers.

About 100 showed up out of my class of 500. I don't really feel like I missed out. Most of my h/s friends that i would have liked to catch up with didn't go either.

I already talk to anyone from my hs that I care to keep in touch with (about 4-5 people max.). I doubt I will ever go to a reunion.

I think facebook will eventually kill reunions.

Yes! That's how I know who bought tickets and who hadn't. And I don't feel like I missed anything because all the pictures were posted on FB too! lol
