What is this giraffe thing??
EarthCam - Giraffe Cam
Her name is Autumn. She's in a zoo in SC and they have a webcam set up watching her 24/7 in case she goes into labor with her first calf. Right now she's just walking around, eating, drinking, pottying. But it'd be neat to catch the birth.
Cool! I'm heading into a meeting but I'll check that out later. Adair LOVES giraffes.
Yeah, the evil part of me hopes the teacher hates her in underwear. Ha.
Mona, hope he naps soon! EEK. We're supposed to go to a squadron event tonight, but obviously not happening for DS and I with his fever. It's not as high today so just letting it run its course for awhile. Whenever I give him meds this time he seems to go on party mode for a bit. Usually it knocks him out! It was after 11pm before he was down for the night last night. It wasn't bad at all, he just would rather sit and chat with me in his own little toddler language. lol. The downside of the squadron event is lord knows when I'll see DH ....and if he'll even be sober. No idea what to do for dinner. Cause making homemade minestrone soup does not sound appealing to me with a toddler who insists on being on me.
When Simon's feeling unwell advil usually gives him a little boost of energy too. Guess cause he feels better. Simon totally has his own language too, it sort of sounds Korean! AHAH! I hope Aiden feels better soon! Its sad when our babies are sick!
I not only sniff Evan's drink at a restaurant, I take a small taste too. DH sometimes thinks I'm crazy, but I think it doesn't take any effort to make sure they are drinking what they are supposed to and the consequences could be awful.
Jackie, sorry he's still sick today. Evan also gets a little boost of energy when we treat his fever. I guess it just makes them feel better and they want to catch up on what they've missed out on.
Leigh, I also hope the teacher wishes she hadn't mentioned the underpants. She sounds horrible.
Mona, yay for good bp!!!
Wow, ya'll. Now I feel like a bad mom for not being more paranoid about Addy's restaurant drinks! Although usually she only has water we brought or from a cup that came with everyone else's anyway.
I'm a bad mom too then Leigh! guess I'll pay more attention to the kids drinks!
You know what I HAVE learned to be paranoid about is beans. They're often oddly really spicy (even when the waitress claims they're not). We learned that one the hard way. Now we always taste test them before offering them to her (although most of the time she still won't eat them anyway. She's just convinced they're all too spicy now.)
