Hmm our weekend, lets see, beach yesterday, beach today and wine tasting. Oh and depending maybe beach again this afternoon.
Hubby got me some Reece's peanut butter cups today. Not sure why I like them because I am not a huge peanut butter eater and American chocolate tastes terrible
I need to buy hypno babies, it's on my as soon as I get a positive I'm buying it list.
don't like american chocolate?!!:jawdrop:
Milk chocolate is just so so and that's pretty much what everyone thinks of for american chocolate.
I wanna go to the beach again!!! But I don't think we're going to have a weekend free before it turns cold here. :(
Yup, even our stock standard basic chocolate (cadbury) is much nicer. I also prefer dark chocolate.
We have so many nice beaches not far from us so we are lucky, and blessed with some lovely weather at the moment. Sadly it's stinger season so we have to go to beaches with nets which limits options.
we never made it to the beach this year which made me sad. DH and I always argue which one to go to as both of us have strong ties and memories with family to different beaches.
I got Ronin a book I loved when I was a kid today for 20cents, it's the Jolly Postman. We used to fight over it in the school library.
I'm goign to do his room up a bit today by putting some alphabet wall stickers up. I should be cleaning and washing but it will get done some time, I just want to enjoy today because tomorrow is going to wear me out
Don't give up hope. I had to go to a wedding when Addy was 2 months old and had basically the same requirements. I ended up finding something great at Ross for $10! It wasn't "formal" but it was pretty and with jewelry, shoes, and my pretty RS I think I looked pretty good! The key was that it was made of super stretchy material so I could pull the neckline down and nurse discreetly with NO issues. WIN. Although I did buy some spanx because stretchy dress + postpartum body = ugh.

Yesterday we went to the zoo with my friend and her husband, mom, and now 3 week old baby, and then we went to a big local festival for lunch. Addy had NO accidents the entire morning--I was so proud of her. AND US, for remembering to take her every half an hour  At the festival, we actually brought her little car potty, and it fit in the basket of the stroller, so we just found a quiet spot behind something every now and then and had a little potty break. It worked great! She even asked to use it once after she drank a TON of juice and had to pee before I got around to asking her again.
The weird thing is that when we started this whole PT thing, pee was a problem but she was 100% on poop. She even stopped in the middle of counting for hide and seek to go poop! But ever since her first day back to school, she's doing really well on pee but has pooped nearly every single time in her pants! :( I really don't get it. Cutting back on fruit did help her firm up and go less often, which is great (and easier to clean up) but still...what the heck, girl!? Well, we're working on it...
Oh, funny story: DH had a friend over last night, and at first Addy was terrified and clinging to me because she is really weird about men. But then she decided she liked him and turned into ridiculous attention seeking showoff toddler for the rest of the evening. The best part was when she pooped in her panties and I took her into the bedroom to clean up. After I'd wiped her down but before I could redress her, she ran out into the hall, found the friend, and bent over, spreading her butt and yelling "LOOK AT MY BUTT!!!!!!!!" I was laughing too hard to successfully get her back for several seconds. Good thing he's a good sport!
Oooo - Ross! Yep, think that'll be at the top of my list of places to visit for a dress. Cheap. :D
How frustrating about poop! I wonder if she's picked up on something from the other kids. Some might have expressed distaste for pooping on the potty or she's seen a few poop in their pants or something. I know most kids seem to have more issues with poop than me.
And  to that story! Poor friend. lol
Wendy, hope the wall stickers turn out nice for Ronin. And sting rays not so much of an issue out here. They do exist, but we're don't have nets and don't have to dodge them. Actually I've seen dolphins 3 times this summer from our beach trips!
No not sting rays, jelly fish, we just call them stingers.
Leigh- could the poop be an issue now because it is firmer and less frequent, maybe she is readjusting and relearning how the feeling is
 Language barrier! Yeah, I did watch a documentary once about how y'all have some of the deadliest jellyfish off y'alls coasts and that some are small. I think I saw one jellyfish out of all of our trips.
And interesting point about the poop!
So I had it in my mind today that I was going to make 20 breakfast burritos (the ones Joy talked about in her birth lodge that she had made) and 10 veggie burgers for the freezer. By myself. HA HA HA. I made it through the breakfast burritos and had to call in DH to help me clean up. Guess the burgers will have to wait for another day. Maybe later in the week when I've planned for us to have leftovers for dinner.
