The "Get in MY belly .. baby" Chat Thread (#29)

Whats a date night, we just never get them. There is nothign to do here and we have no childcare and hubby has randome days off so going to the nearest big town is impossible with the 1.5 hours drive each way.

We had bedtime from hell last night, Ronin fought it every step of the way and it ended in screaming and crying, Ronin crying for Daddy because he obviousky thought Mummy was too mean, Ronin then crying for Mummy bewcause Daddy was just as mean and an hour and a half later after lots of muisc, boobie and giving him some teething medication in case it was his teeth he finally rolled over curled up into me closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep.

Oh my to Lyla watching her panties fill up. That girl comes up with some good ones. I hope your inspection went well.
Janice, thank goodness you still have your job. I can't imagine how that must have been.
Jackie, that's great about poop in the potty. The first time Evan pooped in the potty, he would not bend his legs at his hips. He stayed stiff, I had to lean him back over the potty, then after he pooped, he sat on it the right way. It hasn't been that long since he pooped then peed in the floor. Silly boys. I'm with you on the u/s. I wouldn't want one either, besides, you wouldn't be able to see near as much as you did on the gender reveal u/s. At least that was our experience. That cake was horrible!! And too funny about your dad.
Molly, enjoy your date night. That DOES sound heavenly. We haven't had a date night in forever. I seriously can't remember when it was. Although, we did catch a football game in September. My mom kept him all night. I guess that could be close enough. We (probably more me) want to go to a concert in December, so we may do date night then.
Mona, that does sound promising. And it can't hurt to try, he may get the hang of it now.

Wendy and Leigh, it sounds like you both had bad nights. Hopefully the next one is better.

Man, I hope so!!!!! Forget it on the water bottle idea. NOT WORTH IT. She can pee in a diaper at night until she's 47 for all I care.

I bet. Jeff leaves tonight. We will see how Evan does. I'm guessing good until he gets tired or I don't give him his way. :p

I bet so. See if you can do something extra exciting to wear him out so he'll just pass out early :D

Wendy that sounds rough! 90 minutes of fighting sleep is normal when it's just me and Aiden. But with DH? It's like 15 minutes and he's out. :roll: Wish my husband was always around for bedtime!

I know my SIL would watch Aiden, but we'd end up having to drive the hour there to drop him off at her house. They do have a lot more restaurants though. Maybe we can ask her if she's free Nov 4th since that's our anniversary. At the rate Zoe is setting something tells me I'll still be safely pregnant then. ;)

I did have hiccups this afternoon and it was on my side! So thinking she's transverse again. It's halfway there at least. Would explain why my hips are killing me tonight!

Quite a place to give birth and an interesting helper to boot! But ummm.....baby doesn't need to breathe air if the umbilical cord is still connected and pulsating. Just saying! People always seem to panic about the cord being wrapped around the neck, but it seems like most birth stories I read these days has some degree of this.
