Leigh, I guess the cold front has hit you there. It's supposed to hit here tonight and only be 60*F here tomorrow!! Last year Lyla's party got rained out and this year it's going to be cold!! I hope you can chance the clock to stay on longer! Good luck with the PT today.
Call me crazy, but Lyla is in panties today. She asked to go potty this morning and when I took her diaper off she actually peed in the potty, so I went with panties.
I am very suddenly feeling like I'm going to vomit. WTH.
What? Oh no!
(Good luck on the ultrasound!! They ARE exciting! Baby viewing! And maybe big news!!! )
Kristi, don't worry too much about finding out the sex right now. Wait till you are there laying on the table with the probe on your belly and the tech is asking you the big money question. Let your instinct guide you in the moment! And maybe bring an envelope just in case you decide you don't want to know now. OR you could do a fun thing like get the tech to put the answer in an envelope and seal it, then you give the envelope to a friend or family member who will plan a gender reveal party where you and DH find out at the party!!

lol! That is exactly when/how I decided with Lainey! And you said exactly what I'm going to do - take an envelope along just in case. If we do find out, we're going to have a little gender reveal party where the girls open up a big box with the pink or blue balloons in it.
I don't know why I make this into a much bigger deal than it has to be. I just keep thinking - "Last baby! Last time to do this! Last chance to have a gender reveal party (there was no such thing when I was pregnant with DD1, and we didn't find out with DD2) OR last chance to have a surprise gender at the birth!"
Honestly, I've done both (found out with DD1, didn't with DD2) and slightly preferred waiting. But we didn't get the cool, "It's a girl!" moment with DD2, I looked over my shoulder to check as an EMT was taking her away in a towel. I said "It's a girl?" and some random person I don't know said "Yep, it's a girl." Which, granted, is a moment I'll never forget, but wasn't exactly the "moment" I was hoping for, either.
See, I'm horrible about gender stuff. I am terrible at surprises and could not wait to find out what I was having. I want to get the cute blue/pink stuff. I want to have "the name" picked out.
Go Lyla & Adair. Come on girls!!
ME TOOOOO. There was NO QUESTION I wanted to find out. I figured it's a surprise moment whether you find out at 20 weeks or 40, right? It's not like knowing already is going to make meeting your baby any less exciting, and we held back the name as the fun surprise reveal for everyone else. I think gender reveal parties sound awesome, though, and if I do a #2 I might do that for added excitement. If it was the same day as the u/s, or else I wouldn't be able to wait
Woot woot for potty business, Adair!! And seriously, you've already been to the gym today?! I suck. Guess I'll go after lab meeting.
I was way too impatient to not find out at the U/S with Teagan. I think I'd like to experience it the other way so I want to keep Sprog a surprise.
Teagan's rash is actually worse today. Not super duper worse but worse. I sent the Hydrocortisone with her to school so they can slather it on her before nap time. I'm going to attack her wardrobe and her sheets this weekend and just do a million rinses.
