Pretty sure if I did that the base police would have a few words with me and my husband.

I even thought to myself, "Jackie would know how to rock this situation, but I'm just going to balance her on the counter on my hip and eat one handed."
If I didn't have an arsenal of carriers I would be doing the same. Although I have put together a super quick lunch before when him whining and crying and then we ate on the couch. Poor couch. lol

Jackie, That you are baby wearing at all at this point is amazing. I also find it amusing that you were 'not a wrapper' and have become a complete convert since you got that first wrap.
I still don't feel like a wrapper, but I've got two carries down really well now (cause I only do those two carries these days lol). If it weren't for wraps I would not be BWing currently.

And sounds like a fantastic appt to me! (well minus the puking)

I often have people tell me he walks and talks so well for an 18 month old, sometimes they say they rounded that up and they actually think he is younger if not for his walking and talking skills. He has gotten a bit taller lately though, but hubby and my brother were both smaller until their teens so we don't expect much else from Ronin.
I only keep up with Aiden's height and weight because I weigh him on the scale at home and then we trick him to stand against a wall to make a small pencil mark. He hasn't seen a doctor since Del Rio. They have him assigned to flight med here and I really don't want to drag him and pregnant me to the sick house out in town (aka, there's only one ped group out in town so can you imagine that waiting room?! ew). If they don't put Zoe on base I'm going to fight it. As much I don't get why flight med, I'd rather stick to that than go out in town the more I hear.

Hey, take what you can get!

So Aiden has a random fever this afternoon of 101*. Trying to get him to take a nap took me laying down with him. And as soon as I tried leaving he'd immediately wake up and panic. Poor kiddo. I did give him some Tylenol. DH is home now and has taken over. Whew.

I know Ronin's weight because I am always weighing him, like once a week, abit more if he sees me on the scales because then he wants a turn and I weigh myself between 2 and 5 times a day. Right now I am seeing if all this food he is eating is putting any weight on him. I should do his height but he never stands still

Jackie: 1. Poor Aiden! 2. What is flight med? 3. I'm sad to say we eat almost every meal on the couch (not Adair--in fact DH gets mad at me when I let her have snacks on there but really...it's leather. It brushes right off. WHO CARES) 4. If you're not a wrapper, nobody is! Goodness, girl!

We don't own a scale. I try not to weigh myself more than once per week at the gym so I don't make myself crazy over random normal fluctuations. I did weigh Addy once semi-recently at someone else's house, and she was at 30.5 lbs

Sorry, silly me went on USAF speak. We have a medical clinic on base. Flight med is the part of the clinic where all the fliers go for their medical care. And apparently so does Aiden. Ha ha.

And you should see these people over at TBW and the BW Love FB page! WOW.

I weight myself every morning naked. It's always lower then.

Lucas is small too. A lot of people seem surprised when i saw how old he is. Some people have even commented on how small he is but then I look at their kid and they are a chunker so that isn't a fair comparison I weighed him on our scale a little while ago and it said 24.5 pounds. he might be 25 now though he is just very skinny. Pants fall off him at the waist and he grows out of length before the waist. My brother was super skinny growing up and still is. DH isn't a large man either so I am not worried.

I AM SO RELIEVED!!! Adair had a nearly perfect PT day at school today...two small accidents, but one they weren't even sure of because she was playing in water at the time and it was pretty small (just a little leak if anything) and once she asked her teacher to go poop and just didn't quite make it.

    I WILL TAKE IT!

Boy this PT thing is one heck of an emotional roller coaster. Now if I could just get her to stop acting like I'm trying to abduct her every time I pick her up from school

    WTG ADAIR!!!!

    she doesn't want to leave?

Lucas is on another "i hate daddy" kick. he screams his head off and freaks out anytime DH wants to do anything but play with him (put him to bed, read to him) he clings to me and says "mama!!" i feel bad, DH is pretty upset about it. Actually i put him down a little while ago and he has been in his crib crying DH is up there with him right now so i hope that works. He refused dinner so I hope he isn't getting sick....

Leigh - great news that day 2 went much better!

janice - I hope Lucas isn't sick! It's hard when they don't want one parent or the other!

Some of these kids are huge! My 3 year old is only 37" tall and weighs around 32lbs! Olivia was 31" and around 19lbs at her 18 month. I weighed her the other day she's at 21lbs or so now. I have short skinny kids!
