Yup, terrified of them, no idea what it is that scares me about them but I can't stand them and they freak me out, even pictures.

Of the top five most poisonous snakes in the world, three call Australia home, one of those I have seen in the backyard at a BBQ we attended.

Congrats on the house offer, have you seen anything in the new town that interests you?

Great news about the house Anna! I'd ditch anything you don't use regularly!

And hell no to poisonous snakes here too! LOL! I can handle garden snakes and frogs I think are cute, but spiders really freak me out!

Frogs? hehe Wendy that's almost cute that they freak you out. Are Koala's really mean? I've heard somewhere before they were.

Congrats on the offer Anna!! woohoo. I'm with Leigh- If you're questioning it, then get rid of it. That's great that they want all of that other stuff. Less to pack too.

Anna....WooHoo!!! Awesome news!! I was also gonna ask if you knew who it was. I was wondering about those that you "stalked" too. I'm with everyone else, if it gets used alot, keep, if not, get some $$ for it. Leigh is right, looking for the new house is so much better than selling the current house. I'm not sure what all they look for in the inspection, I would assume stuff like gas lines/leaks, same with water, wiring, foundation status (is it good, cracked, etc). Things that would make the house unlivable or dangerous perhaps.
Wendy, that is funny that with all of the crazy stuff ya'll have there that frogs freak you out. But I found out this month that my DH also does not like frogs. WTH? Evan was chasing one around. I was inside and told DH to pick it up and let him play with it. He said Ugh no. I can't handle frogs. I about died laughing!

Yeah, that, plus the roof condition, whether stuff is to code, etc. (although if it's not I don't think it's a dealbreaker--just noted for the buyer's information.) Probably there are different laws in different places, though....

I find all the frog fear hilarious! They're so cute! The only things I'm categorically freaked out by are spiders and roaches. Insects don't respect your personal space!

Spiders don't bother me too much, I do get the occasional shudder. Roaches though, oh my!! Catch me off guard and I may squeal like a little girl.

Koala's are pretty docile, but they do smell and have been known to pee on tourists getting photos with them. Noit sure if they turn mean though, I have only seen them sitting in trees at zoos.

Don't feel too bad. When I went to the dentist while pregnant, I wrote it on my form in two different places in huge letters, circled it, and they STILL tried to give me x-rays. I had a very obvious swallowed-a-basketball pregnant belly, too. For some reason, some people are just OBLIVIOUS. Scary when it's people who could actually do you harm, though...makes me fear for the young/uninformed mamas out there!
