Gift Exchange

I recall we'd talked about doing a gift exchange awhile back. Since its now November (I know, I don't believe it either), perhaps we should get on that? Everyone seemed to like the home-town/state ornament idea. Let's go with that. Sign up in the comments below and let us know if you're OK with sending a gift to another country.

Then a (a-hem) MOD can take over with collecting addresses and assigning people. We still have those, right? Wink I personally feel like people should be matched to someone at least a few states away so that the ornaments are more interesting. Not that I wouldn't LOVE a gift from someone in CA or TX but the ornaments will be more 'exotic' that way.

I'm cool with sending a gift to a far-far away land.

Yep, ornament exchange! Smile

Have no idea how I'm going to find a TX one cause there are no ornaments that I've seen in town so far. Maybe I'll stop off in Austin in 2 weeks and look. Already plan to stop there for cloth diaper inserts and IKEA. Lol

Walmart and Target usually have the ones that you can decorate/paint yourself. Maybe you could make your own Texas one?

No Target. That's too high class for Del Rio. Blum 3 Though I'll check Walmart closer next week. I was surprised that they didn't have Christmas stuff yet when I was there last. Seems like everybody else already has it out! Though paint your own is a unique idea if I can't find anything else. Smile

Our Walmart had decorated Christmas trees at the front of the store last week! It's like most places want to skip over Thanksgiving and go straight to Christmas!

I don't think I will be able to find a Queensland one either Jackie so who I get may have to put up with a plain old Australia one. I'm sure I can find an Aussie Santa or something.

Ok I can't find an Australian ornament anywhere in town so whoever I get will get a plain ornament and something Australian I think I need to buy tomorrow because I need to ship the day I get someone because it may not get there in time.

Bump, I have an ornament already to go, just waiting for my person. Ronin pulled it off the shelf, I apologise in advance, it's not the fanciest, but he loved it. I had yo deal with a toddler tantrum to get it in the envelope.
