LOs age: 6 months
6 month (or current) stats: 17lbs, 11oz and 27" long
Clothing/Diaper size: 12 month clothing, though I can squeeze him into a couple of 9 months stuff. If he was in disposables he'd be in size 3.
Still BFing (how's it going?): Still BF. He's a total boob boy.
How many teeth? (Teagan can't STILL be the only one, can she?): No teeth, but this kid has been actively teething forever.
Sleeping/Napping Habits: He's a GREAT napper. Seriously can't believe this is the same kid that used to never nap. However, I recently put 2 and 2 together and realized that he's getting TOO MUCH sleep during the day which is causing him to sleep worse at night. Or rather not sleep at night and choose to play at 3am. After two days of limiting him to two two hour naps, he's sleeping at night 4 hours in his crib and then cosleeping for another 4 hours before he starts getting restless. At least it's an improvement.
How are solids going?: They're going into his lap. Occasionally going down his throat. I should probably give him more, but some days he's napping when I eat so he doesn't eat solids at all.
Latest tricks: He's pulling himself along by his hands (thankfully not very far). He also figured out how to open books and close them (and he repeats this over and over and over lol).
Favorites
Toy: The basic old fashioned ring stacker is his favorite real toy, though as y'all saw from the video he's quite happy with just a tissue box.
Food: Everything but pancakes results in a look of disgust right now.
Time of day: He's pretty much always a happy baby.
Activity: Rolling over to daddy's xbox and the DirecTV DVR and turning them on and off.
Least Favorites
Food: Cheese and banana. He'll taste them once and that's it. He won't even pick them back up again!
Time of day: When mom makes him get up after sleeping for 2 hours.
Activity: Having his diaper changed.
Mommy Tidbits
How was Mothers' Day?: Got 2 bottles of wine from DH. Got flowers during mass. And went out to eat! Pretty good!
Your favorite thing about baby: He's getting to be so much fun to play with!
What are you most looking forward to in the next 6 months (baby-related AND not baby-related): Finding out where we're moving to next and maybe even moving! I'm also excited for Aiden to say his first word and with luck baby sign.
Is there anything you are NOT looking forward to?: Packing. Increased mobility by Aiden. lol.

Mother's Day:

Name/age: Erin, 29
LOs name: Teagan the Troublemaker Tesla
LOs age: 7.5 months
6 month (or current) stats: @ 6 months- 19.5 lbs & 26 3/4 in; Now about 21 lbs and probably taller
Clothing/Diaper size: 12-18 month clothes, brown edge "Large" prefolds
Still BFing (how's it going?): Yep! Teeth and distraction aren't fun but we're still rockin' it.
How many teeth?: She's working on #6. #'s 7 and 8 are probably close as well
Sleeping/Napping Habits: She's adopted a nap schedule of sorts. It's usually a 1-1.5 hour nap around 8am, then another 1-1.5 hour nap at 11, and another 45 min-2 hour nap around 2. Bedtime is 7pm. She nurses a few time at night but we're still co-sleeping so whatevs. She's up, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed at 6am. I'm OK with this arrangement about 75% of the time.
How are solids going?: She's doing well. Still not eating much at home but she chows down 2-4 1 oz cubes at daycare. At home she refuses purees so we do finger food. 80% of what I give her ends up on the floor/her head/eaten by the dog. She's pretty adventurous though. She mostly prefers to eat off my plate.
Latest tricks: Geez, the last week has been crazy! She started army crawling, cruising, and clapping. I officially have a mobile baby.
Favorites
Toy: Anything that isn't a toy. Why do I bother buying them? She loves my muffin tin, the stereo, and the dogs' water bowl.
Food: Zucchini (I know, WTH?) and yogurt
Time of day: She's a morning baby
Activity: Shower time, going outside, Boob

Food: Sweet potato (I've mentioned she's a weird child, right)
Time of day: 4-6pm
Activity: Car rides (especially between 4-6pm)
Mommy Tidbits
How was Mothers' Day?: DH made waffles and let me sleep in until 8. Of course, I could hear T yelling and him making a huge ruckus in the kitchen so I didn't actually get to sleep. I had to study the rest of the day so we're going to spend this weekend doing lots of family stuff. I might also finally have time to use the massage DH got me for X-mas.
Your favorite thing about baby: Her happy little face when she first wakes up. It's the main reason I can't/won't give up co-sleeping.
What are you most looking forward to in the next 6 months (baby-related AND not baby-related): There's no doubt in my mind she'll be walking before her birthday. That'll be cool. Also, we're going to San Diego in August. Can't wait to take my girly to the ocean! And, completely un-baby-related, I'm excited to work on two very cool research projects this summer. I'm going to be genotyping ancient Jaguar hides! How cool is that?!
Is there anything you are NOT looking forward to?: Teagan is starting full days at daycare in June. This will be both happy and sad for me. I'm happy that I'll get to see DH more because we won't be doing split-shifts anymore but I'm sad that T will be spending 3 more hours per day away from us. I'm also not too pleased that 30 is approaching. Will it go away if I just ignore it?

6 month (or current) stats: I forget her 6 months. 25 inches and 16ish lbs, I think? No idea what she is now.
Clothing/Diaper size: 9months. Diapers are one size Fuzzibunz, so again, no idea what she'd be in disposables.
Still BFing (how's it going?): Yep, yep! Going strong.
How many teeth? (Teagan can't STILL be the only one, can she?): Nada!
Sleeping/Napping Habits: Um, sleep at night is getting messed up. She's napping fine, but now she is waking up around midnight thinking it is a fine time to "talk" and play. I disagree.
How are solids going?: Not. She refuses all solids in all forms. Ah well.
Latest tricks: Sitting up well, and she says mama (not just babbling mamamamama either, she says it for me).

How was Mothers' Day?: Fine. I got two trees to plant in the front yard to represent each girl. Very sweet - and DH even thought of it himself (unheard of!)
Your favorite thing about baby: Everything. I adore her Especially her squishy rolls and baby smell. And her little laugh.
What are you most looking forward to in the next 6 months (baby-related AND not baby-related): Looking forward to the quarter being over. Of course, I am going to be doing my field work research this summer, but I'm trying to pretend that it doesn't exist.

Sleeping/Napping Habits: Nights are awesome, sleeps from 8 to around 630. Naps are getting better, sometimes we get an hour! All in the crib!
How are solids going?: So so. He takes the first few bites eagerly then gets bored of them. Mind you I usually breastfeed first so he's probably not that hungry.

Sleeping/Napping Habits:horrible napper. even right now has been awake for 5 hours i think i will take him to the park and wear him out. he normally naps 30 minutes at a time and has been fighting them a lot lately. i try not to complain (too much) because he is awesome at night. usually sleeps 12 hours and occasionally wakes up once in the night.
How are solids going?retty good. he likes pretty much everything i have given him and had no reactions yet.

What are you most looking forward to in the next 6 months (baby-related AND not baby-related): non baby-I have my last official day of working (although it's really just mat leave ending) on the 7th June. I will then be a full time SAHM baby-all his growing up-crawling/pulling up/first steps
Is there anything you are NOT looking forward to?:all of the above I'm SO happy I have the privilege of being able to afford being a SAHM but at the same time it's the only full time job I've had and I've been there 5.5 years. I'm really sad to be leaving all my friends. AND I don't want my baby to grow up
