Happy Independence Day weekend ladies! Stay safe this weekend and keep diligent around fireworks, campfires, grills, and swimming pools. Don't forget to have a lot of fun and post pictures of your little cuties enjoying their first 4th celebrations next week.![]()
Aiden will totally be in his blue and red star diapers.
And now for a random question for everyone:
What's your favorite thing to cook out on a grill?
~Jackie, mommy to Aiden (11/2/10) and Zoe (VBAC 11/27/12)
This time of year, I love a good set of wet pork ribs! I also really enjoy grilled beef kabobs, which I'll make year around.

As of 2 days ago my new favorite thing to grill is tomatoes. I cut tomatoes in 4 slices, brushed with garlic oil, grilled long enough to get them hot and make grill marks, then arranged on a plate with slices of mozzarella and basil, then drizzled on a balsamic reduction. Grilled caprese salad! NOM! I will never make another not-grilled caprese salad!
By far pork chops are my favorite on the grill....I just discovered this a couple years ago. They are so good.....
2nd fav is my hubby's ribs
We are going over to some friends earlier in the day and have a BBQ and have fun in their new pool. Then around dinner time we're going to my nephews for BBQ and fireworks. We were just going to go to my nephews and then our friends invited over and he is THE BEST BBQ'er ever!!!! So we have to go there too. *lol*
That's sounds amazing Erin! I was thinking about making caprese salad later this weekend. Totally going to grill the tomatoes if I do!

I always put tomato on my Kabobs and those are yummy so grilled tomato slices sound amazing Erin!
Grilled mushrooms and zucchini, little olive oil and salt first, and another fave of mine. Recently did asparagus the same way and those were tasty as well.
