So, DS has been climbing out of his crib for a good month now. I really can't believe it took him that long to figure it out!! He is such a climber & dare devil!
At first it started that he would only climb out in the morning when he was ready to wake up. Then, it was right after putting him to bed at night. Then, in the middle of the night. With DD, she only climbed out a handful of times - or more so fell out. DS is so strong though, I've watched him get out - swings his legs over the edge & soundlessly lowers himself to the ground. So he climbs out, fine, I don't care, he can read in his room (other than stuffed animals & books, there are no toys in his room), fall asleep on the floor for all I care, but he tries to get out of his room. So, I put a child lock door knob on the inside of his room so he can't wander around the house at night. But, now he bangs & rattles the door, trying to get out of his room! DD's room is right next to his & I don't want him waking her up too.
I've been bugging DH for a while to get the toddler bed put together because obviously the crib is doing no good, so might as well put him in the toddler bed.
He finally got it put together tonight - kept the crib up JIK. So, DS has been playing & talking in his room & now rattling on the door again. How the heck do we get him to stay quiet in his room!?
Again, never had this problem with DD
Any suggestions would be appreciated
