How cute!

What are some cute things your LO does lately?

Lyla will put her foot up on the edge of the bathtub when taking a shower. She's seen me do it when she showers with me.

Today she's wearing a strappy shirt and she just pulled down the straps to show her chest. I think she's been watching me BF too much.

One more and I'll stop.
Yesterday I was nursing Kole in the living room and she ran to our bedroom to get me the boppy pillow. I never even asked her to get it, it was so very sweet!

I just took a load of washing down and Ronin was upstairs with hubby and was running around screaming and crying with washing in his arms wanting to take it down.

Let me think a bit more because right now he is in a 'sell him to the gypsy's' moment so remmebering cute things is difficult

Love it!

Odin 'reads books' to me and holds the book up while reading like he sees up do at circle time each day. So funny. Also has conversations with me on anything he can use as a phone. "Hello there. Mommy. Ok. Bye bye, later." That's the usual but it varies sometimes.

Such cuties!

We were messing around the other day trying to teach T how to do a somersault and taught her to say "Ta Da!" after she does it. Now she says Ta Da! all the time. She'll say it and throw her hands up in the air after she uses the potty, which is ridonculously cute.

She'll set up her baby doll in her Bumbo and feed her.

She'll say "Stop, Dogs. Stop!" to the dogs when they're running by. (a line from Go, Dogs. GO!")

She's constantly singing little songs that I've never heard. Like right now she's flailing and prancing about the kitchen singing "Dee da Dee da Dee da".

Sometimes when she's ready for bed, she'll grab a blanket, put it out on the floor, sing "Night, Night Baby" and pat herself on the back.

If I'm not wearing pants, she'll come up behind me and blow raspberries on my thighs!

I'm sure I could think of more if my brain weren't still fuzzy from this cold. She's been exceptionally cute in order to make up for being an exceptional terror. She's slick like that. She knows she has to whip out the cute to balance the terror and keep me from selling her.

We went to feed the ducks and turtles today and every time Ronin threw a piece of bread he would yell out yay.

In general he applauds my bad singing and when songs finish on the radio or on a cd.

If I ask for a cuddle he comes up and lowers his head to my chest holds it for a moment and then pulls away

My child uses coasters. He will not sit down his Sippy or water bottle without a coaster. Of he doesn't see a free one he insists we move one of our cups for his. Now if only DH were this good about coasters. Blum 3

He always flushes the toilet after DH or I use the bathroom. And waves bye to the waste. Even better, because we now call him to flush the potty for us he doesn't run into the bathroom to flush it randomly anymore!

Aiden loves to give us hugs and kisses. And it's never just one. He has at least a 3 kiss minimum!

When he's hungry he'll run to his kitchen cabinet and grab a plate or bowl, bring it to one of us, and sign food.

Those are all ridiculously adorable. Toddlers are amazing little creatures, aren’t they?

Oh, man, I don’t even know where to start with Adair! When she’s not busy making me want to sell her (TM Erin), she’s seriously the most hilarious, ridiculous little person I’ve ever met.

One new thing, just this weekend, is that she’s finally embraced the concept of being polite…OVER-embraced it, really, so that everything is “please” and “thank you”…even “Addy, can you pick up that cup?” “Yes, PLEASE!” It’s pretty adorable.

I’m also really enjoying the way she takes a shower in the cold shower after we go swimming. She loves it, but she shrieks a lot and only puts in one body part at a time…including her butt, her belly, her head, one foot…you get the picture. So funny.

She also just noticed the concept of coasters too Smile

Awww these are cute!

Simon loves to grab my head and pull me in for a kiss. He'll also pat my back when he gives me a hug. Too adorable!!!

I also told him once to pinch DH's bum, so he does it all the time now. and say "PINCH!" LOL!!!

He likes to "help" me cook and he always tries to get ahold of the spatula and reaches for whatever I'm doing with it.

He has a glowworm that I call his baby that he'll pick up and hug and kiss. And he'll bring it to me to give "booboo" (our word for boobs/breastfeeding).

I could go on forever!! Love this thread!

Isabelle has learned to say "sorry" but she only says it when SHE gets hurt, lol! If she hurts someone else, she won't say it.

All these are so cute!!

Evan will give me his usual open mouth slobbery sugars and we both turn our heads side to side and make crazy noises. It leaves me with a wet face, but I'm the only one he does this with, so I love it. He loves to dance!! I'll put music on, and we both dance like crazy. After every song, he will clap and yell, "Yay!!" He also loves to share snacks, I think he just likes putting things in our mouths. Giving the dog a treat is very popular. Sometimes he runs around the house a bit before giving it up.

Ronin does the clapping and yay after a song, you know he really likes it if i's a clap and a yay, it's just a clap or a yay if it's a normal song. We have to have if your happy and you know it and Row row row your boat at least once a day.

If Ronin wants to nurse, especially if he is tired he walks up to me and signs milk while saying (or is tired whinging) me, mine over and over again.

Aiden climbs in my lap and says "oood" and then tries to latch on through my shirt. lol
I was able to ask Aiden for a kiss today and he came running over to give me one! He listens! He listens!!!

i still don't get kisses Sad he gave me a random one once.

he knows the word milk now. he has some every night before bed and last night i asked him if he was ready for his milk and he stopped what he was doing and walked into the kitchen. I thought he was diddling around in there because he was really quiet and i got up to walk to the kitchen and he came around the corner looking for me and went. "deh???" as in "where the heck is my milk?" lol it was sooo cute.

Simon still isnt talking much, but whenever I see a big truck or something "impressive" I say to him "Oh, that's a big ______". So now when he see's something he's impressed with he says "oh that!" LOL!!!! He never fills in the blank though. He also sings the "Darth Vadar" music from star wars. Well, every note is prounced DOO, but he's got the melody right....for a few notes into it anyways. But if you ask him if he wants to watch star wars, he always does that. Too cute!

OMG! I forgot the funniest thing! We were at my friends house the other day and they have the nicest cat. Will tolerate anything from the kids. So Simon LOVES animals so he was following it around and petting it. Well that cat was sitting on the arm of the couch and Simon gently but firmly grabs the cat around the shoulders and pulls it in for a big kiss! LMAO!! The cat just sat there. Then he put a doll tiara on it's head. I was dying!!! Lol That cat is the best!

ROFL Those are all adorable! We need a cat like that in Adair's life...my old cat lives at my mom's but he runs when he sees the happy grabby toddler coming.

My cute moment for the day was how excited Adair is about her first real birthday party invitation...I mean, of course she's been to birthday parties but it's been arranged between moms--this was HER first literal, paper INVITATION. And she is PSYCHED. DH found it when he dropped her off at daycare yesterday, and told her what it was, but then put it in her lunch bag so I would see it and RSVP. Well, I pulled it out this morning and she started shrieking "ADEN! ADEN HAPPY! CAKE!!! MINE! MIIIIINE!!! ADEN HAPPY!!!!!! MINE!!!" so I handed it to her and she continued in that vein, clutching it to her chest and prancing around the room for like five minutes. SO cute. She loves Aden, but mostly she's been really into the whole idea of birthday parties lately. Because she knows they have CAKE. Lol

Our cats and dogs mostly avoid Teagan. They know better Smile

Addy's reaction to the invite is so cute! Teagan had no idea what it meant but she was really excited about the train on the front. She grabbed it from me and went around "choo choo"ing.

Teagan's been really into typing lately. We have this keyboard remote for the TV that she loves to type on while on the couch. We really need to get her an old junker keyboard to play with.

She loves to run around the house in her hooded towel. When she gets out of the shower she points to her towel and says "Tawoooo". After I put it on her, she squeals with delight and tears around the house for like 30 minutes with it on.

She's making up the greatest little toddler babbling. Like full on babbling sentences. One of her favorite "words" is "boopty". We have no idea what it means but she says it all the time and its stinking cute.

These kids are so freaking cute!!

Mona, that is awesome!! that cat sounds like our cat. he lets Lucas do whatever he wants to him and he takes it.

That is adorable that Addy was so excited over the invitation.

Erin, Lucas says "eh deh" all the time and he says it in a question so his voice gets high and goes "eh dehhh??" I'm not totally sure what he is saying, but it usually relates to him wanting something or trying to show us something. He also says "ah bwa" a lot and i have no idea what that one means.

It's funny how they make up words. Simon for awhile was saying "batsoowa?!" Sort of like a question but always in a high voice. No clue what it meant. He hasnt done it for awhile now though.

Awe. I love all the made up words. Lyla yells "Owie" whenever she's frustrated or something doesn't cooperate with what she wants. I have to say that her vocabulary is getting pretty expansive these days and it's insanely cute.

Whenever I'm nursing Kole, she comes up and pokes my boob and repeatedly says "boobie" in a questioning tone.

Ronin has been using me as a jungle gym all morning and keeps hurting me (sharp ankles digging in, head butts, you know the usual), and when I tell him to stop he is hurting me he starts giving me kisses, like I do when he hurts himself to kiss it better. I also think he does it to save himself from getting into too much trouble, saving himself by cuteness

Oh totally...I hate that, because how can you resist it? Whenever I get really truly mad at Adair, she always immediately starts smiling and petting and kissing me and being as charming as possible, trying to get me to not eat her. Just recently she's started saying "Sorry, Mommy" which...okay, heart melted.

OMG that is ADORABLE. i would have a hard time being pissed off if Lucas said "sorry mommy" little stinkers!

My DCP told me that when she stops at Tim Hortons to get coffee that she sometimes will get timbits for the kids. Today i went through the drive through to get an ice cap mmmm and as I drove away I heard "deh?" from the backseat. I looked in my rear view mirror and Lucas was reaching his hand out expecting a timbit lmao. it was soooo cute. I felt bad that i didn't have any for him Sad

Awe, Janice, that is way too cute. It's almost heartbreaking that you didn't have anything to give him! Sad

Lyla still thinks it's funny when I tell her she's hurting me. But she did put a boppy on me and then laid down on it and pretended to nurse. She's done that several times now.

Awww...that reminds me of the family story of when my brother was a baby and our cousin was maybe 3 and visiting...she saw him nursing and immediately ran to the fridge, got out the milk, and brought it to her mom, saying "Put this in your boobies so I can nurse too!" Lol

I have no idea what a timbit is but that's pretty cute.

I'm convinced all T's babbling is actually real conversation garbled by bad pronunciation. I have these epiphany moments when I figure one out. For the longest time T's been going around saying "awby awby awby awby". Just the other day I realize she's saying "Aubrey", one of her teachers names. I said "OH, you're saying Aubrey" and she got really excited and started nodding and saying it really loud. Then I asked her to say Maribel (her other teacher) and she said something like "mawble". Granted, Maribel is harder to say.

Speaking of new words, T is busting them out left and right. At the Biosphere yesterday, I pointed to a cactus and asked her what it was (not expecting an answer) and she blurted out "cactus" clear as day! Then later that night she was playing with my labmate and I asked her if she liked Bob and she said "BOB!". The kid won't say mommy but she'll say Bob.

Oh, and she's starting to be very concerned when one of us leaves. Not in a crying infant way but in a questioning toddler way. If DH walks off she yell after him "Daddy Daddy Daddy?". If I walk off she'll yell "Daddy om om om Daddy?" Yeah, my kid calls me Daddy unless she's upset in which case I'm either "Doobs" or "om om om ".

It's totally real conversation garbled by toddler pronunciation! The fog just slooooowly clears...

Sometimes Adair calls DH "Mommy-Daddy" (yeah, he LOVES that )

Today we had a huge milestone--I was out sewing all afternoon (3 hours) and when I came home, she started telling me about her day, fairly understandably and totally unprompted! She said when I came in, after shouting "PIGGY NIGHT NIGHT BABY!" (she had her pig wrapped in a blanket) "Poop! Addy big poop!" and I said "What? You did a big poop in the potty?" and she said "Yes!!!" all proud...and then said "And Addy (something) Smoothie! SMOOTHIE." so I asked "And then you had a smoothie?" and she said "YES!!!" all happy. All witnessed and confirmed by DH. *sniff* My little girl is growing up! Poop and smoothies! Biggrin
