Teagan plays a game that we call "Night Night Baby". It goes like this:
Step 1: Get something ... anything ... usually a doll but appliances seem to work as well
Step 2: Get something like a blanket .. or a tissue .. or toilet paper ... or a shirt
Step 3: DEMAND that Mama & Daddy place the something from Step 2 over the other something from Step 1 just right
Step 4-10: SCREAM because Mama & Daddy are not doing it right
Step 11: Smack the combined somethings while shouting NIGHT NIGHT DEEDEE!!!
Step 12: Rip the something from Step 2 off the something from Step 1
Step 13: SCREAM
Step 14: Go to Step 1
She gets it from daycare. She's role-playing their nap time routine (she added the smacking). I'll go to pick her up and there will be 3-4 toddlers sitting there playing night night baby (I have nightmares that are a little similar). I CANNOT STAND anymore night night baby. Its driving me bat**** crazy. Today, I literally screamed "I'm going to KILL night night baby". Not my best parenting moment but can you really blame me?
She used to play night night baby all by herself and it was SOOO cute. Now its like the demon spawn of playtime and I want it do die. How do I end it? I can't disappear it like I would with an annoying toy because she can play night night baby with anything. If I locked her naked in a padded room she would lie herself on the floor and pat herself while screaming "NIGHT NIGHT DEEDEE".
How can I make it STOP??!?!
