Thread: How long has Oct/Nov '10 BF'd?

Happy World Breastfeeding Week, ladies!! In addition to participating in the PG.org-wide BFing tally, I'm hoping you will all join in to calculate how long our board has collectively BF'd! We've all done SUCH an awesome job over the past (nearly) 2 years. So, EVERYONE who has even latched a baby to her breast should participate!

Here's how it works, I'll put up my number in months and then the next person puts hers and adds in mine.

Ex: Running total is 100 months

I BF'd DS for 12 months & DD for 13 months. 12+13+100= 125 months!

When the week comes to an end, I'll do the math and figure out how many YEARS we've BF'd! I'm putting in a guess that we've got over 30 years of BFing experience just on this board!!

Starting us off!!

I've been BFing for 22 months!!

I BF'd for 13 months, so that makes 35.

20 months!

So 55 months total now.

Wow! 4.5 years between just the three of us! I might need to up my 30 year guess.

Well DS is almost 22 months, so I'll just make it 22. I keep thinking he's going to stop, but nope!

77 months now!

I BF'd Lyla for 10.5 months and so far I've BF'd Kole for 3.5 (almost 4) months. I'll round it to and even 14 months. So that makes the total:

91 months.

22 months for me, so we're at 113 months.

+18 months DD1
+22 months DD2

153 months

+6 months for Ryland
+21 months for Odin whose still nursing
+3.5 months for Archer (I'm counting that separate even if it's tandum)

184 months (I'm rounding up)

The fact that there is even 6 or more of us still nursing toddlers, even through pregnancy/new baby/working, is amazing!
