I bf for 18 months which takes us to 337
Uplifting article, Leigh! I'm still shocked that only 6% of births occurred in baby-friendly hospitals. Right there is the reason for such low BFing numbers.
Guess who completely refused to nurse during the Latch On? Yeah, my boob crazy toddler. Once it was over and the nursing babies were counted, she asked for boobs. Argh. I missed work and she missed school so that we could sit in a room across town. I did see a friend though so there was that.
Oh, T, naughty girl! At least you were able to show your support.
glad to see rates increasing - comments made me mad though!

My Ovulation Chart
If I hadn't been determined, hadn't all the Oct mommies already posting about BFing, and hadn't brought my own BFing book with me, there's no way I would have left the hospital still confident in BFing with Aiden. *sigh* I'm glad the rates are increasing!
And Erin like I said on FB, Aiden made up for her. They switched places this morning apparently.
Thanks, Aiden, for making up for Teagan today!! My friend tandem nursed her nearly 3yo & 7mo this morning. Her 3yo didn't latch last year. I was disappointed but I figure there's always next year
Mona, a tactfully placed flower might make for a really sweet siggy pic
I figured my picture wouldn't elicit as many stares and raised eyebrows on FB if it wasn't in color. Though my husband did get a text message from a single guy friend of ours from Del Rio - "dude, did you know your wife posted a picture of her boobs on FB?" My husband apparently told him to enjoy the view.
Maybe you can blur or swirl the area of concern? Or find a really nice tactful picture of a lady in a skimpy bikini to stamp on top.
