I need advice please??

I am trying to find a good double stroller and well I don't have much of a selection here bc I live in Canada.. and the maritimes at that. The ones I was looking at is:

The Graco Euro Tour Duo.
The Graco Tour Duo Flint.
The Graco Quattro Tour Duo.

Now my other question since I can't seem to find any answers when I researched them... do they have a infant carseat with them, or can I buy it by itself and attach it to the stroller??

Like I said any advice would be great! TIA!!

I'm in the same boat and have been busy researching double strollers. If you buy a travel system then it comes with the carseat, but you can buy just the stroller by itself.

I have not settled on one yet, but I like the Chicco Cortina, but it's pretty pricey. The Graco's have pretty good user ratings on Amazon, and I've been looking at those, such as thisGraco Duoglider.

I wish we had some of these in local stores so that I could go look at them and take them for test drives, but alas, they don't. Part of my issue too is that I was a new infant seat too and can't decide what I want in that department either. Good luck, and let me know what you end up getting and I will do the same!

I'm no help. I love my single BOB so much its one of the reasons we're not having another until Teagan is closer to 3. Wink We absolutely cannot afford to buy a double BOB and once you go BOB you don't go back.

I don't know anything about those strollers but I loooove my Joovy caboose ultralight. My kiddos are further apart in age, though, so a sit n stand type works better than a double for us.

While not cheap, I love the Baby Jogger City Select in the doubles option. What I think makes it extra special is that you can remove the 2nd seat and use it as a single (cause let's face it, you won't always have both kids on you).

I don't know much about them, but it looks nice and every few months they run deals on them making them a lot cheaper, is the Britax B-ready.

I hate Graco strollers with a passion and would choose Chicco over them (plus their infant seats are a bit nicer IMO).

Check out y'alls craigslist equivalent. You'd be surprised at how cheap you can find a double stroller sometimes!

Another radical idea is to baby wear the new baby and push the older kiddo in whatever stroller you already have. By the time you get tired baby wearing (I'm no where near that point, but for others it's about a year), the older kiddo won't be nearly as interested in being pushed in a stroller. I actually have yet to use the stroller I brought with me since I got home a week ago!

That's my plan! I can still easily wear 24 lb Teagan with my Ergo. I'm gonna make that BOB last!

If we go double then we are going with the double BOB. But Odin really doesn't dig being in the stroller and would much rather be worn so I'm not sure if we will buy one right off. For now the plan is to wear one LO and put the other in the stroller.

I too plan to do a lot more baby wearing this time around. I just don't think I will be comfortable baby wearing a whole lot until he has some good head control. And even with baby wearing, I think there will be occasions where I will want/need to put them both in a stroller.

I have the graco and it works pretty good. You can put your own carseat in it as long as you lay the back down totally flat. The only issues I have now are that my ds usually is in the front and well he is 3 so he kinda weighs it down up there. I probably will switch them around if I need to use it again.

I love my city select. I mean I LOVE it. So much. It's my favourite thing I have ever bought!! Ever!! :D:D

DS1 hardly ever goes in it now but I still love it as a single even though it is huge...but to be fare that's why I love it Lol

I have a 3 year old DS and a 1 year old DD. I have a sit and stand. I got it dirt cheap on Craigslist. I never use it LOL. I bring it everywhere but never actually use it for 2 kids. I keep a single Jeep (another cheapy) stroller and the sit and stand in my van all the time. I usually end up holding DD2 and letting DS walk/run/grab stuff (you know, the usual for a 3 year old). DS hates being in the stroller and quite frankly he's too big for it anyway (he's a big 3 year old) and DD2 doesn't want to be in it if DS is free to roam. So, strollers have been very useless for us unless it's a quick moving trip, then they will actually sit in it.

All that to say, I'm absolutely useless in a decision like this. Good luck Biggrin

Thank you everyone.

As for baby wearing that is a good idea. I also want this baby used to a stroller so I don't run into the same problems with Brookelyn. Her fell apart before I barely even used it, it was a cheapy. This time I want to buy something that is worth the money.

For the ones that live in the states you guys have way more better options than where I live here in Canada. My options are very limited. Some of those strollers I haven't even heard of.

I will update you guys when I figure out what one to buy...

Thanks, again.

Rebekah, most of the strollers we've mentioned we don't even see in stores like Target, Walmart, BRU, etc. Have to find them online. I did a quick goole search to see if the strollers were available for purchase from a Canadian retailer. The really cool strollers are over the pond in Europe if you ask me. Wink
I'm a bit of a stroller stalker and will go up to people and ask them about their stroller. That's how I get a lot of my information. Lol
