omg i love halloween i am so excited!!!
i am getting pumpkins this weekend, but we will carve them either sunday or tuesday night. if DH doesn't want to be a part of it (he usually has no interest) we will do them tuesday during the day as i am on vacation next week! Last year every time he touched the guts he went "uck" and made the best faces! he doesn't like getting dirty so we will see this year.
i forgot to add that apparantly there is a "cure" on pinterest for rotting pumpkins. not sure if it works or not though
Our biggest jack-o-lantern problem was when our dog ate it! :lol: Now we have a fence keeping them in the back yard, though, so our front yard is once again safe for decoration.

I really think it mostly depends on where you are. It takes a while for a pumpkin to rot in the desert.
Ours in Vegas and Del Rio rotted within 3 days. Even with vaseline last year in Del Rio. I'm crossing my fingers that it'll last for 3 days here. I'm not sure. :p
We tried the bleach thing this year to see if that makes any difference. It's pretty warm here still so we might lose ours sooner this year.
The people with kitchen #1 need to de-clutter for sure, esp. with the busy wallpaper I think it makes it look smaller as well.
Kitchen #2, guess you can do laundry, dishes and cook at one time?
But did anyone else notice that not only are those 3 crammed together but the cabinets above are full cabinets? The house is otherwise nice and would totally be on the list, but we aren't going to have the money to redo anything for quite some time so things like this are a complete deal breaker for me. I can't imagine trying to wash dishes or cook with my face smooshed against the cabinets or any place to put my clean dishes.Quote:
