The "Jackie baby watch! Erin gets her IUD out!" chat #30

Well the gas saga continues and I have turned it over to hubby. I rang back the place that told me yesterday they would supply it to confirm we wanted one bottle. I got someone different and they said they need this certficate or else they won't supply. They can't even look up our address to see if they have it on file because they arrange ina display folder by surname, so helpful people. I ended up yelling at them about incompteant staff and crying at work. I told hubby he can sort oit out, but when I can get new appliances for about double the cost of the stupid certificate i have a feeling we could be going that way. Anyone got ideas of easy quick things I can cook in the oven or microwave that use turkey mince or thin steaks, because thats what I have in the freezer and no stove to cook with so it's buy all new food or starve.

That is completely dumb Wendy about the gas. I know you can cook ground meat in the microwave, but that's about it. I don't use mine much.

I feel so freaking miserable right now. I'm up 6 lbs according to my scale from last Wednesday!!! It hurts to walk period. I'm constantly itchy. UGH.

Oh no, Jackie. That does sound miserable. So I saw on Erin's thread that you were having minor signs of Zoe's appearance. That sounds promising.

I'm really glad you're in a better place today. It's a great sign that he's at least examining and willing to talk about the way he fights (which I agree is totally unacceptable). We had that convo a few months back after a particularly huge blowout, and I must say that while it did not stop us from fighting, we have been fighting less explosively since then, since I've been a little more able to not freak out about some of his reactions that drive me nuts, and he's been more able to tone them down since we talked it through. I hope the same is true for you guys in the long run. And yes--it sounds like this fight was probably the result of a loooong period of HIGH stress finally finding a vent. So sorry you had to go through it but I hope it clears the air some...

So, I'm in trouble. Adair is already getting her way through persuasive argument...she's a mini me. My parents used to call me the Philadelphia Lawyer when I was a little kid, because I could reason them into agreeing with me on almost anything! We are in soooo much trouble. :lol: Part of it is I just keep agreeing with her because I'm so impressed with her skills and it's hilariously adorable. Yesterday she wanted to smear mud on my feet while I was reading on the patio, and I said I didn't want mud on my feet. She looked at me with the perkiest face and said "Come on, mama. It will be FUN. It will be FUNNY. I will clean it up!" ....well in that case... Then later she wanted to drink a cup of open water while sitting up on a bar stool, and I said no, I didn't want her to make a mess. She said "No, mama. I will sit up there and drink it CAREFULLY." Well if you're going to throw ADVERBS at me, two year old....!

Leigh, I think I would be in trouble too if Evan did that. That is so cute.

So Aiden proved to me that he knows how to take apart the door knob covers. He took one apart and let himself out into the garage....twice. :banghead:

Well, since it's all I can think about this morning (besides my work), I'll share with you ladies. Today is fried chicken day for lunch!! WooHoo!!! :drool:

Oh my goodness, Jackie!! That crazy boy. I honestly didn't think about the kids doing that. Great, something fun to look forward to. I put those on thinking I had won the war since he can now unlock the deadbolt.
