I like to use 100% cotton for ring slings. I have one on my Etsy right now that is a microfiber polyester. It's super soft and it works well, but it's not a popular/traditional fabric for ring slings. I have 2 on there now that are 100% cotton gauze so they are super breathable, but that's what I would recommend. I love the name Lorelei! I think Leah and Lily work best with Suzanne, but I think they are all good strong girl names.
I think, considering your circumstances, the bride should make some special considerations for you. I do know that some women are extremely particular about everything being exactly so on their wedding day, but since you are taller and going to be barely PP, it's not going to do her wedding pics any favors if you are towering over everyone with big milk-filled boobs falling out of a strapless dress. She would do better to put you in flats or very small (say 1" max) heels and a halter or strapped dress to contain the boobs. That's my take on it.
Leigh, I hope you get to feeling better quick.
I definitely think you should ask about the straps, but if she won't go for it you could try a bustierre (sp???) you know, one of those corset like bras that covers your whole ribcage for support from below. That's what I wore under my wedding dress, since I don't have the boobs to hold up a strapless dress, and it worked great. They're pretty much a fortress.
So to add to my fun today, the school called and said Addy had to be picked up because she has lice!!!!! Thank god my mom was able to help. I'll go get her after my doctor's appointment, but really....just what I need! This WHILE I'm sick? WTH!?!![]()
EWWWWWWWWWWWW! I HATE lice! Hate, Hate! What a bunch of crap to deal with. Do you know if it's a bad case where you pretty much have to renovate the house to get rid of them? I hope you kill those nasty things quick.

Ugh, lice suck!!! Sorry she has that, and while you are sick. Bleh.
Don't do a bustier under the dress if you are nursing, it's not pretty. My cousin had this under her wedding dress, she had a boned dress with a bustier underneath and complained all day how hard it was to nurse her daughter. I wasn't very sympathetic and bit my tounge instead of telling her she maybe should have choisen a different style of dress.
I think I am ready tp call it, I think Ronin is night weaned. He hasn't asked for it at his one wake up for a c ouple of weeks, he did get it btwice after going to be though, both times because he fell out of bed. Last night when he woke he was up for ages, but asked for water three times and never mentioned boobie, only patted them once then moved on to squirming around the bed like a worm. So we are down to bedtime and naptime when he is home, though he does nap for anyone else but me without it.
Well, maybe that will make him on the way to STTN for good.
Not yet, we still get one wake up and that varies as to what time, sometimes it's 12-1ish others it's 4-5 ish
