that is soooo cute! Whenever I try singing any songs like that to Aiden he yells no at me. So at this rate he'll never know the itsy bitsy spider or pat a cake or any of those.![]()
I'm very close to all of my siblings. Me and my brother are 15 months apart and then my sister is 5.5 years younger than me and then my my brother is 8 years younger and my youngest sister is 11 years younger then me. My brother and I were like twins growing up. My sister and I have had our differences but we are really close in spite of that. If I needed an alibi or help burying a body I could call on any one of them and know my secret is safe. Well, except my youngest sister, but she is special needs so that is different anyway.
Simon usually likes it when I sing. He gets mad every once in awhile too though. LOL! He generally loves the itsy bitsy spider though. If he's watching a show he likes that has songs and I sing he gets really mad though!![]()
Adair looooves Itsy Bitsy Spider! Also Bringing Home a Baby Bumblebee, ABCs, Row Row Row Your Boat, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, and a bunch more. I think the Bumblebee one is her current favorite--that's the one I catch her singing and doing the motions to herself a lotHonestly a lot of them I forgot about until she came home singing them from school but now she likes to sing them with me too (most of the time). Most of the ones I add to the mix are weird old songs from the 40s or something that I got from my family. We are big on the random singing

Mona that is too cute!
Madison doesn't do any songs yet. I try to sing them to her but it's just not her thing yet. I might need to try some new ones. I forgot about bumblebee.
Sibling wise- my brothers are a lot older than me. One is 20 years and the other 12 years older than me. We have different dads as well. My parents were 36 & 37 when they had me.
Lyla loves the itsy bitsy spider and twinkle twinkle little star. She always starts singing the 'high' notes when we watch any music thing on TV.
My house is a major disaster right now. After I FINALLY got our realtor to call us back and found out we are still under contract on the house, I got out some boxes and started cleaning out some high cabinets with stuff we really don't use. I discovered that I'm a bit more organized than I thought. My house may look cluttered but my cabinets tend to be pretty organized. I think today I'm going to take leave everything as is and just play with my babies all day. I'll try to do dishes if they take a nap at the same time.
I think that sounds like an excellent plan!
I'm back to work--still have a sore throat but feeling much better (funny how some antibiotics and a few ridiculously long naps can do that...) and Addy's still all clear, yay! Anna, you inspired me--since I have to put this preventative spray stuff in her hair and comb it out every morning anyway, I've been braiding it into two braids. Not fancy french ones, but just two little regular braids. It looks soooo cute, though. Thanks for making me feel like doing a two year old's hair might actually be possible![]()
Anna, I think you should do just that. Great plan.
Leigh, glad you are feeling better today.
Evan loves the wheels on the bus right now and head, shoulders, knees and toes. He will just randomly start singing, then I will sing along with him. He loves it.
Oh yeah, Wheels on the Bus! Addy doesn't sing that on her own yet, but there's this version on YouTube (something about GiggleBellies? IDK) with a purple bus that she begged me to play like four times in a row the other day.
She can sing the whole alphabet, but that darn middle (always a problem!) is "H I J K la la la la P!"![]()
