Kristi, Yes. painted walls are absolutely important to babies. Your baby would be very disappointed to come home and have builders grade paint on the walls. I actually enjoy painting and am excited to get into a new house so I can paint it.
Wendy, that's great news! I would be willing to seriously maim someone for a commercial grade cooktop, you know, the kind with the 6 burners. I hope you get it and post pics when you get it all put in.

I want to paint, my Dad has said he has 120l of paint for us but I'm still waiting for it.
We are still deciding on the new appliances Anna, not sure because it's a bigish chunk of money and the whole kitchen needs redoing so new applances might look funny in the crappy kitchen.
Have a glass for me as well Anna, someone may as well get drunk around here.

We actually got to choose our appliances when we bought our house, because it had none, so I'm happy with those. The crappy countertops and sink are driving me nuts, though--high on the house to do list!
Babies totally need new paint. She might just crawl back inside if she comes home to beige walls... I know I would.
(Yeah, low or no VOC paint is totally OK for preggos! I painted Addy's dresser with some when she was baking.)
Baby bedtime is imminent. She's being really cute right now but I am so tired, being off duty for a while sounds pretty great. Enjoy that wine, Anna! I'm debating.

Our oven is terrible, it is so useless and i swear doesn't heat right. Thats why we even looked at ovens today because ours is driving us insane.
Ronin is in aterrible mood today, he's sitting on hubby's lap watching motorbike racing. I think I am going to drive up to the chemist and get him something to put on the mosquito bites all over his legs.

Oye, I hate mosquito bites! It's a little scary these days anyway since we've had a west nile outbreak locally. I hope Ronin gives you a break soon.
