So it's not like Jackie to be so quiet, maybe Zoe decided to take her pep talk to heart and give her poor mama some releif and share her Daddy's birthday.
Ronin's is currently chasing the cat around with the fat food bowl because the cat dared to decide he didn't want any more after Ronin fed him
Anna, yay for the house!!! That is great news!!!
We thankfully live in a pretty quiet neighborhood too. I don't know that I've ever heard gun shots like that. You know, besides for hunting and target practice.
Maybe Jackie is having Zoe!! Come on Zoe!!
YOU GET TO MOVE!!!!I've been praying for y'all that everything would work out. Y'all needed this to work for your sanity!!!
Leigh, thanks for reminding me why it's worth putting up with dumb base housing rules. Definitely no car chases, gun shots, etc here.
Sadly, I was not quiet today because Zoe decided to arrive. After we had breakfast this morning (oreo pie - the best breakfast ever! lol) my husband couldn't decide what he wanted to do so he called his sister and decided we were driving the hour to her city to spend the day there. We took the three boys (Aiden and his two cousins) to a park there for a couple of hours. We then went out to eat for DH's birthday. And then just hung out over at their house chatting. We just got back less than an hour ago.
While Zoe hasn't decided to get the show on the road, she is making me hopeful. She had clearly dropped when I got up this morning. I did a quick check and holy cow! Just one inch up was her head!!! My SIL took one look at me and said "she's lower than last weekend! omg!" I feel like my stomach is smaller now because she's not hanging over like she was, definitely more in line. Walking around at the park I could feel the downward centered pressure well. Parts of me that have been hurting are no longer hurting thanks to her change (so oddly I'm more comfortable now that she's dropped so much!). Thinking lots of positive thoughts.
Just popping in from my lurkdom to say how happy I am that things are working out on the house Anna! I've been following along and was hoping you guys would get good news-you really deserve it!
Jackie-sounds like its really getting close if she's dropped. I bet it won't be very long at all now!
Yeah, I was worrying myself into an ulcer there. It did not look good for us, but I think because the PRE part of the approval is required and we were supposedly pre-approved they were all motivated to figure out some way to make it work because it was their negligence that caused that debacle. But it works out better for us really.
Ours is a pretty quiet neighborhood really. It's lose to a busy street though so we do get some noise from that, mostly emergency sirens. But it seems like we've had some more shady people move in around us recently and this whole issue with police being around here is a very recent development. We've lived here 5 years and all the crazy stuff with police has been happening in the last 6 months or so. We've had some issues with next door neighbors, but it been a good neighborhood overall.
Janice!!!! Congrats again!!! Super exciting news!!
i feel fairly safe in our neighbourhood as the house attached to us has a copthere is a lot of families around here, though we seem to be in the middle of a lot of break ins and other shady stuff or at least having it surround us.
Thanks Anna!! i still can't believe how fast that was. Now I have to decide what to do about the care situation. I can't decide between midwife or ob..
Lots of good news here tonight! Now maybe we can get Zoe to join that.
I'm sitting on my birth ball right now telling her now would be a good time.
An inch?! Adair was more than an inch up after I'd been pushing for an hour and a half! Come on, Zoe!!!
my kid is such a mooch! he is harassing DH for some of his apple, but it is sooo funny because he stands there with his mouth open wide saying "AHHHHH" or he will just stand there with his mouth open until DH gives him some
Jackie, how are you feeling today?
