Well, I think going out to a bar is crazy of course! But my SIL rented the bottom apartment in a split house and they made friends with the upstairs neighbors and would go hang out up there with the monitor on sometimes...I think that sounds awesome.
That's such a sad story Anna. I can't imagine leaving Aiden at home asleep without me being around. The farthest I left him was to sit out on our back patio with friends in Del Rio with the angel care monitor on.
Rebozo makes my stomach itch more. Oh well, at least I got some time with it on.
Ugh. The fourth wall has been broken. One morning Addy needed to pee before her alarm came on, and it came on while she was on the potty. She got HUGE eyes and said "I wasn't in my bed and my green light came on anyway!" and I tried to explain that the green light just meant that it's morning and OK to wake up and come see Mommy...but whatever magical force field it had created in her little mind was definitely brought down that day. She's not waking up any MORE than she was before, but now she's out of bed and running through the house toward our bedroom crying within seconds of waking up every time. UGH! She's also discovered that needing the potty in the night is a great way to get mommy or daddy to sit there for longer. Not sure how to fix it, since I can't exactly tell her no, just pee in your bed, kid.
I got a surprise baby shower from a few moms I've gotten to know here! Would have been more, but lots of sick kiddos right now apparently. I really enjoyed myself and Aiden loved being able to play with others as always.
Bad night last night, 3 wake ups. The first hubby bought him in to me, the second he coughed and threw up a little, but it was just water by the looks of it, then the third time was another coughing fit.
I think he may have a bit of mucous on his chest because thats what the vomit looks like, when a kid is all chesty, but he doesn't look or sound sick.
I got to see the eclipse, we headed to the beach but when i got to the end of the street I saw we had a perfect view so we stopped there. It rained just before then as totality came, the clouds cleared and we got to see the whole thing, even Ronin got to look while it was safe because he hated the eclipse glasses.
