Could be molars. Could be just yet another weird toddler phase. I have no idea if aiden has his coming through or not yet. I'm afraid to stick my finger back there!
That's great about waking up dry, Molly! I haven't really been able to track molars either--it's so hard to feel or see back there that I pretty much gave up. Addy goes through phases like that with some regularity, though, so...I say just ride it out whether it's molars or not. Hopefully it won't last too long!
Let's hope. I really don't want to stick my fingers back there either. Ouch.
Last night after fighting with her for well over an hour, we did the CIO method (which I really dislike) and she cried for 3 mins. She was that tired.
FWIW, I don't think letting her cry on her own a bit really counts as CIO at this age. Of course you still want to be a responsive and caring parent, but it's not the same as leaving a helpless infant alone to scream in the dark with no understanding of what's happening or why nobody's coming to help them...toddlers get it, they just don't like it and are letting you know. I am as anti-CIO as you can get when it comes to babies, and I still don't let Addy completely freak out (not only do I not believe in it, it's counterproductive anyway), but I will absolutely let her fuss for a bit now if I can tell she's winding herself down and not up (it's pretty obvious). Usually I'm quite willing to sit with her in the dark until she falls asleep, but on the rare night when she is just not letting go, sometimes it almost seems like she needs to be left alone to fully relax. She just doesn't realize it. Because she's two. So she whines/cries a little...and then goes to sleep.
It's still rough, though. Hope she gets through whatever she's going through fast!!
I feel bad because it means several of us dropped the ball, but I should have at least remembered Claire's!
The board is much slower than it was when I lurked over there during Aiden's pregnancy, but it is getting regular posts which is better than other boards.
Jackie, I was going to say you aren't the only one who dropped the ball on the lodges. There is a host over there who should have picked it up if others weren't starting them.
Wendy, that's great that Ronin is so far ahead of the game. Of course all of us already knew that.
Kole is army crawling like a champ, pulling up to standing and even starting to cruise. All of this within the last 3 weeks! Right now he's stuck under a piece of furniture he crawled under.
Packing is very slowly coming along, Molly. I have sections in one room where I am stacking boxes as I get them packed. There is still soooo much to do and then there's a lot of it we really can't do until the last minute. We only have a month left before we move! EEEP! Right now I need Kole to take a nap so I can do some more packing while I frequently stop by here to stalk, er check on, Jackie.
