Anna, I'm so jealous Lyla let you braid her hair! It looks so cute...I want to do Addy's but there's no way she'll sit still long enough. Also with her curls it's extra tricky...I might have to do it wet. I can't even do a straight part for pigtails when it's dry--it's wacky right down to the scalp!
Ugh, I woke up sick this morning. Not sick enough to stay home--YET--but we'll see how it goes. I have a feeling it's gonna be a short one for me again today at work.
Her electric toothbrush was the trick to getting her to sit still long enough to french braid it. It hasn't worked again since though. Lyla's hair has soft curls on the ends and I can't fix it dry. I always have to wet it to get even a half decent do out of it, so I can only imagine if it was all curly.
Loved the pics on fb of the girls night out.
Anna- I love Lyla's hair like that. Very cute, and of course Kole is adorable in his chubs.
It's hard to believe all of the babies that will be coming soon. It'll be fun!
Trying to recover from this weekend. Saturday we went to the local college FB game, and I actually got to drink 4 drinks! (huge deal for me, I'm lame lol) and then yesterday was the big b-day bash. We had about 40 people counting kids there. Madison did really good and got a lot of fun toys. She got her first Barbie too
I'm trying to convince myself that it's a bright decision to drive to the outlet mall today and walk around in hopes of turning this baby and finding some nursing friendly shirts for cheap. I own way too many fitted t-shirts which just aren't nursing friendly at all. I regret not buying more clothes for NIP with Aiden.
Hello ladies. It sounds like everyone had a pretty good weekend. Glad some of you got to rock a girls night out and get your drink on.
Anna, I have never heard of that wine before, then after you posted the picture of it, the next day I saw a bottle. How crazy.
We did race for the cure on Saturday. Evan did pretty good. I think the crowd (50,000+) and the loud music freaked him out a little, but after about a mile, he let me pull him in his car and he enjoyed it. Thank goodness. DH comes home today, WooHoo!!!
If it wasn't 80*, I'd walk around base and take Aiden to the nice park. But ugh. 1.5 miles one way pregnant in the heat? No thanks. Every time I think we're getting fall temps, the weather gets warmer again!
HOWEVER, I totally felt hiccups from my left hip before lunch!!! Think she's working her way oblong (not quite there) so hopefully walking and squats to see low racks will help do the trick! Gonna rock that birth ball tonight too.
Leigh, hope you feel better soon.
Stacy, sounds like you've rocked your DH being gone. Glad he'll be home soon!!!
This baby is totally oblong right now, was head down. Not that i dont have loads of time. But I have hicccups on my right pelvis groin area and it hurts so much! You'd think the baby would want to move instead of having his/her head pushing against my pelvis!!!
