I think I'm in 'I'm having a baby' denial. Or is it the fact that this is my 3rd baby? I'm almost 26 weeks, and we've done pretty much nothing to get ready. Do I even need to do anything? I have clothes, diapers, and boobs. What more do I really need? But I feel like I ought to be doing....something....
Jackie, we have definitely had that happen at restaurants before. It's usually while we are waiting for food or if he is super tired.
yay for no more morning sickness!!! I am not looking forward to the ravenous part. I gained 10 pounds with Lucas in the first 12 weeks!
It's probably the 3rd baby thing. Plus you know how little you need. I did very, very little outside of washing clothes, buying cloth diapers I don't need, and setting up a nursery that she won't use.So pretty much useless stuff that you know you don't have to bother with. Especially as early as 26 weeks. lol
Aiden is usually really well behaved for a toddler when we eat out. Tonight he was screaming at the top of his lungs "NOOOOO!!!" so everyone in the damn place stared at me. Then he tried to tumble head first out the high chair. Then he took off his shoes and threw them a couple of tables away. I, by a miracle, managed to save most of the food from being thrown. Oh the screaming. I don't know what the heck got into him!!!!
Yikes! Jackie! Gotta love the sudden major mood swings. Let me give a small glimpse into your near future: About 40 minutes ago, after one failed attempt to put Kole down for the night and after a major toddler poop, I was sitting in the recliner nursing a fatty and heard a noise over my shoulder. I glanced up and could see my toddler's head. This meant that she was standing in the high chair getting into all the stuff scattered all over the bar area. I guess we should sell the stupid high chair and get another booster seat thing. Since I was nursing the fatty (he was ALMOST asleep!) I could not get up an physically remove her from her perch. I whispered loudly (is that really possible) for her to get down, but she has selective hearing, so I had to bust out this clenched teeth growly "GET DOWN! NOW!" Which I like to save for extreme circumstances since is tends to scare her into immediate obedience.
Oh my. Can't wait. Totally going to be me. lol
I feel like I should get an award for talking to Aiden calmly the whole time he was throwing a fit. What I wanted to do was throw him over my shoulder and march out.
It's 10:30 and I haven't even bothered putting Aiden to bed. Elmo on repeat! Gosh I'm lazy, but seriously I just don't care right now.
This afternoon, in the town we are moving to, there was a parade of veterans. Called "Hunt for Heroes". At one point this parade crossed a railroad track and a flatbed trailer filled with veterans and their wives was struck by a train. So far 4 have died, 10 are in critical condition and 7 are stable. It's absolutely horrific.
