Thread: Just like my first...

My first son took his time with milestones. Then he'd do 2-3 within a week. I've always said Emma would be the same, and she is. She started scooting like last week I think and just two days ago she got into the sitting position all by herself, twice! She did it again this morning. She is growing up so fast, I just want her to slow down! She will be 8 months old tomorrow That seems shocking to me. Wasn't I just pregnant?!?!?!

I've been thinking about putting weights on Teagan's legs to keep her from learning new tricks . How are they going to be 8 months tomorrow?!?!

I don't know, Erin. It is unsettling. Just like with my boys, there are times I just look at her and think, "my God, isn't it AMAZING that we created this perfect little person?!" It really is so incredible that we are able to create life. And life comes in such cute little packages!

Just yesterday, I was sitting on the couch with her and she was in a particularly snuggly mood. I couldn't stop hugging her and proclaiming, "I made this!"

I don't even keep track of Owen's milestones, because I don't want them to be happening! He's such a joy to me, I love every inch of him, and every time I look at him it seems he has matured in some way. Bittersweetness!

Wow, I can't believe we are starting to hit 8 months. It's going too fast.
