    Default Least favorite foods...

Spin off of Erin's thread. What foods do your LOs dislike that most people do like?

Aiden hates most pasta. He will not each chicken, only exception is the nuggets from chick-fil-a (recent discovery from traveling lol).

We are having trouble getting Evan to eat meat. If it's in the baby food jar, no problem, but when I cook meat and shred it for him, it's a no go. I don't know if it's lack of teeth, or if he is not used to the texture. That and shredded cheese. He just stares at it. We will keep trying and see what happens.

Aiden won't eat shredded cheese either. I buy blocks of cheese and cut into small cubes for him. Which is why he doesn't get cheese everyday, though I'm sure he'd love that. lol
Have you tried giving him a large hunk of meat? Like size of his hand or bigger (so he can't immediately chock on it)? That's how Aiden started with meat, just gnawing on it!

    Erm....

Nope. Tobey eats EVERYTHING!! seriously!! I think the only thing he hasn't eaten was a strawberry but I think that was just because it was different rather than he didn't like it He shoved in some pineapple the other day thinking it was banana. It was a bit of a shock to him but he ate it and wanted more

I'll have to do that. I actually have never thought to, but I bet he would like it. I've got some of the cheese crumbles that I bought specifically for him, but I haven't given him any yet. I so paranoid of him choking. He bit off more than he could chew of a banana and a baby cookie a couple of weeks ago and choked on both (not gagging, but choking). Thank goodness DH was there, I freaked. I just need to get over it and realize that is how they learn.

The 2 that are an absolute no for her are eggs and onion. She will not eat eggs in any form, even when combined with other foods she likes, such as cheese. She will eat some things that are cooked with onion but she will puke if she gets cooked onion in her mouth.
She also will not eat most meat. We keep offering it, but she always spits it out. She has on a few recent occasions eaten a little ground beef and she did eat a surprising amount of deer meat on Saturday.

Things that immediately go on the floor (except when covered in cheese):
    Vegetables
    Egg
    Bread

She will also randomly refuse things I make but then eat it when we're at a restaurant. She will chow scrambled eggs at restaurants like their going out of style. What gives, kid?!

Pasta, peas, and corn kernals. I think its a texture thing maybe. But he will eat beans and those kinda have a skin on them as well so I don't know.
