My bathing solution no longer works

We don't have a bath tub but since Ronin learnt to sit well I had a solution where we both got proper baths, I would fill his baby bath and let him splash in there while I showered and the washed him. Worked really well, until tonight when Ronin kept trying to pull up in the baby bath. He still needed to hold onto the side but I think my brilliant solution is no longer viable, and I was loving having decent showers.

Toys. Lots and lots of toys.

When Teagan started sitting up well, I started just sticking her on the floor in the shower while I showered. Then she started crawling and pulling up on everything so my showers were interrupted by a baby nibbling my calves and trying to escape the shower. Toys were the answer. Now she's happy to play with her little shower toys while I lather up. When I', done I grab her and lather her up too.

Ditto to what Erin said. I did that all week while we were on vacation and it worked really well.

Yep. Aiden just sits on the floor of my shower now. I bought a few bath toys that he only plays with in during bath time and when he's in his splash pool. I usually only shower Aiden with me twice a week (unless he really makes a mess of himself like he did with blueberry pancakes this morning lol), so things stay fairly "new" to him.

i just had to order a little inflatable tub. his tub is way too small and he doesn't sit up enough for the big tub.

We've been trying toys, he throws them out of the tub and tries to fetch. Because it's cool I'm not too keen on him sitting straight on the tiles right now.

Hehe, I bathe Emma in our kitchen sink. It works out SO SO SO well. We have a double sink and they are pretty big. She loves it.

When I take showers I put Rowan in her walker and bring it into the bathroom. It keeps her occupied - she plays with her toys and when she gets bored she slams the walker backward into the door. It gives me plenty of time to shower and I know she can't get into anything. She gets her baths in the evening. There's no way I could shower with her in the tub - she's become dangerous since she gained mobility.
