Okay, so I was following this thread on my phone while nursing Kole earlier and couldn't respond. Now it seems I've missed all the action. I was initially going to suggest Ariel, but then all A names got vetoed. Then I thought maybe Melody because it's pretty and feminine, but also works well for an adult, IMO.
I like Katelyn (or some spelling variation of it) and it was on my list, but a little high on the popularity list. Of course Lyla is a nice name. I also like Klaire (Claire) but I know that was taken. My DH and I also had a lot of trouble naming our kids since we don't agree on names at all.
Oh and my sister's name is Nancy. She's 26 years old, so I don't associate it with a middle aged, med dependent woman. I don't particularly love the name, but I don't hate it.
PS - I totally understand the Duggar thing.
If I'd been a teen mom (or even in my early 20's) my daughter would have been named Dinah Raine. It didn't even make the list when I was actually pregnant with a girl. We did end up with the same boy name we had picked out when we were pg with Lyla. It's the only one we could both agree we liked.
I'm kind of partial to Lilly
Other names on my girl list: Amelia (Mia for short), Elaina, Ella, Charlotte, Victoria (Tori).
I really like Zoe a lot! I guess if you're not going with Lilly then it's an acceptable second choice![]()

I was going to throw in Abigail before seeing the A thing. Zoe is super cute! Chloe is another one.
The girl name I had picked out as a 14 year old was Kelly Morgan. Kinda sounds like an adult film star to me now![]()
I love Abigail btew Joy, if our next one is a girl she will be Abigail Jacqui ( I don't love the middle name but conceded as hubby had no say in Ronin's middle names so I let him use his grandmothers name this Tim) if our next one is a boy it is looking like he will be something Robert.
I really liked Willow, to the point I know want it on the list if we have a second girl. Zoe is my current supervisers name and she is lovely and Christine is my Mum's name.
