LOs name: Kole Ezra
LOs age: 4 weeks tomorrow. . . already?!
Last known stats: at 2 weeks he was 10lbs and 22 1/2 inches. We have his 1 month tomorrow.
Clothing/Diaper size: He is already wearing a LOT of 6 month onsies!! Size 1 diaper, but soon to be 2.
How are you feeling?: Okay. I overdid it yesterday with vacuuming and moping so real sore today. Emotionally is another story.
How are you adjusting to having one more?: It's overwhelming to say the least. I have to work out a system of what to do when I'm cooking dinner and both are crying at the same time. Last night, I was trying to make dinner and Lyla needed her diaper changed and when I picked her up to go change her, Kole started crying. I guess I'll figure it out someday. . . maybe.
How are your older LO(s) adjusting?: Lyla loves 'the baby'. She wants to hold him all the time and tries to help. She'll pat on him if she can reach him and gives him kisses all the time. She does get real loud to get our attention sometimes and will yell really, really loudly, or insist that I pick her up the moment I put him down. Overall though, it's better than I thought it would be. She'll go throw away his dirty diapers, too and it super cute.
How is BFing going?: Great! After initially feeling as if I wasn't making much milk, I ended up with engorgement for a few days. I have overproduction issues again and a strong let-down that overwhelms him sometimes so he's extra gassy, but he is nursing great and has a great latch.
What is LO's sleep schedule like?: He sleeps very peacefully during the daytime, but groans and grunts all night. He only wakes up about 2x per night to nurse, but the noise he makes makes it hard for me to get any sleep.
What is LO up to lately (I've already forgotten milestones!)? So far all he's really doing is holding his head up very well.
How does the LO differ from your other kid(s) at this age?: He's the total opposite of Lyla so far.
What BTDT knowledge have you found is coming in REALLY handy?: All of it! It's great to just automatically get into a routine of doing certain things that weren't automatic the first time.
Most rewarding thing about having one more kiddo: Seeing them together is so heartwarming. I love knowing that in a few months they'll be playing together.
Most challenging thing about having one more kiddo:Having them both get cranky and fussy at the same time. I can't really carry them both at the same time and I don't want Lyla to feel like she comes second to the needs of the baby, but I don't want to leave Kole crying.
PICS!!!
Here's one off my FB. I'll try to get back to put up some more later.

LOs name: Archer
LOs age: 3 weeks yesterday
Last known stats: Last week he was 9lbs 2oz, still trying to hit his birth weight
Clothing/Diaper size: Still in newborn stuff (all 5 outfits we have...lol) but is starting to get really long. He was my biggest born at 9lbs 9oz but somehow my most lean. Small or OS cloth but we are still using some size 1 7th generation diapers as half of my small diaper stash is still too big and just falls off of him.

How are you feeling?: Really good. I've been able to rest a lot and have subs working for me so that has helped healing. Even my tear is all healed up.

How are you adjusting to having one more?: So 3 wasn't such a big jump. I'm still adjusting to having to LO's 17 months apart. That is really hard some days. Getting them both down the stairs without killing us all is a PITA. And if I take 1 down first and go back for the 2nd then Odin has a screaming fit. Also nap time is sometimes a challenge because I have to pray Archer will sleep while I nurse Odin down. We've had a few days of fail. Odin is going through a terrible toddler stage and teething a ton so that has him on edge and cranky a lot. He will start screaming and I want to rip my hair out sometimes, especially when Archer is trying to peacefully sleep. It will get easier in the next few months but there are moments each day when it is really tough. Plus I'm still running a business out of my house so it limits the chaos and noise that I might normally not worry about creating during the day. On the good side Odin goes down for preschool all morning and I get 3-4 hours of 1 on 1 Archer time. I'm blessed that he is a fairly easy baby and just eats and sleeps. He really is easy going and isn't bothered by much.

How are your older LO(s) adjusting?: Ryland loves the baby and hasn't missed a beat since Archer arrived so is doing well. See above about Odin.

How is BFing going?: Awesome! No nip pain or anything this time.
What is LO's sleep schedule like?: He goes 3-4 hour cycles all night. Sleeps a lot all day still.
What is LO up to lately (I've already forgotten milestones!)?: Nothing yet.
How does the LO differ from your other kid(s) at this age?: He is easier to put down than Odin was. While he will fall asleep at the end of nursing he isn't bothered when unlatched like the other 2 were.

What BTDT knowledge have you found is coming in REALLY handy?: Just go with the flow, feed on demand, and wear that baby.
Most rewarding thing about having one more kiddo: Just watching him grow and seeing how different he is from the other 2. I can't wait till they all play together.
Most challenging thing about having one more kiddo: Making sure to connect with everyone.
