Nonin, that's so cute! Yeah, R's are hard for these little guys! Addy can do R's at the beginning of words, but not second letter at all.

No siblings here. But Rowan does say Teagan when referencing Teagan (I was trying to write that sentence without saying Teagan twice in a row).

When my oldest nephew (now 14, OMG!) was a baby, he called my father Bubba, and my parents just loved it, so to their other grandkids they are Nana and Bubba. But I absolutely hate that and am totally opposed, so as a compromise Rowan calls my dad "Grandpa Bubba."

Yeah...it's tough when there's already an established name. Addy's the first (and likely only) on my mom's side, so she had free reign. DH's mom is already "Mimi" to everyone--established by the first grandchild (now 12) who couldn't pronounce "Grammy"...but we all like it so whatever.

Sounds like you came up with a pretty good compromise! Between the two of us, DH and I have multiple stepdads so there are a lot of Grandpa ______ in Addy's life.

Of course, she doesn't call them anything at all. She calls them [insert suspicious look and leg clinging].

So cute! Love all these nicknames!

Olivia calls Ethan - "E-tan", and Ethan calls Olivia "Livy" most of the time. Ethan gets really confused with Aunt and Uncle so he's forever calling Uncle Chris "Auntie Chris". Drives Chris batty! LOL

Lily is Sissy, because Lily is pretty darn hard for a toddler to say and that's what I started calling her to him. Even Lily never said her own name until she was close to 3! He actually will say Lily every once and awhile now, so I think once he can pronounce it better he will drop the Sissy. He doesn't really call himself anything, though has attempted Lucas a few times. Or "woo-cas" . He calls my dad Papa and my mom Mama, which can make it really confusing! But he thinks it's really funny and if you ask him to say Grandma he will look at you and smile and say "mama!" and then giggle. He does this with my fianc? too, calls him Josh, which is his son's name and just so much easier to say than Richard , and smiles and giggles every time he does it.

Ha, that reminds me of how Addy likes to call DH "MommyDaddy" sometimes (when she is feeling like she loves him). It is REALLY freaking cute.

When DS says Olivia, it sounds like Wi-vaa, and when he says Landon, it sounds like NanDon

Lainey calls her sister Claire most of the time, sometimes Clairey or Sister. Every once in a while, sissy. Claire likes to refer to herself as "Sissy" when talking to Lainey, so I'm surprised she doesn't use it more.

My parents are Grammy and Papaw, since that is what DD1 could say when she was little and it stuck. MIL and FIL picked their own grandparent nicknames (because they're weird like that) and they are Grams and Pops.
