Nooooooo!

She's back. :witch:

:violent2: :brucelee: :bonkself: :arguing: :bigangry:

I'm in for a rough week, aren't I?

On the bright side, I'm fertile Myrtle again. Just wish she'd waited until next winter.

I got mine last month, and surprisingly it wasn't bad. It was so light and I still had no signs annoucing her impending arrival, but I also didn't get the sick feeling I used to get on the first day either.

Yep, still breastfeeding. She's pretty much down to nursing after daycare, before bed, and a few quick nips at night. A bit more on the weekends. I stopped pumping about 2 months ago. It doesn't surprise me but I'm still not pleased.

I started feeling crampy like 5 months ago. Its been torture! I'm somewhat glad that at least I know to expect her.

Boo on her return! Nearly 13 months was a good run though without AF!
I know one other thing you can do to keep her at bay Wink But that would mean this winter and not next Smile

Hope she is easy on you this week.

Booo AF! Hopefully it won't be too bad. I'm jealous that you got almost 14 months! I'm still BFing quite a bit and my AF came back at like 9mos pp.

You made it pretty far! Hopefully she's kinder to you than she was to many of us.

Well, so far its nothing more than a bit of spotting. Nothing like what I'm used to. Mine usually starts out heavy from the get go. Maybe its not the real deal?

Hey! No complaining! She stayed away from you longer than what a lot of us got! And anyway, now you can jump on the TTC wagon whenever you are ready!

No AF here yet!!! Smile I thought she was coming, I have had cramping and such, but nothing yet. I thought that maybe I was pg, but got 3 BFN, so nope. LOL!!! I'm almost starting to get worried that she's not back yet. Simon BF between 3-6 times per day. I dunno.

I hope she's kind to you!!

I'm actually jealous. I've been wanting AF for months. The gap between Rowan and her potential sibling keeps getting longer and longer.

I know exactly what you mean. I was actually glad when AF came back while I was still BFing every 2 hours because it meant we could TTC. Now when I tell people that my kids will only be 18 months apart they look at me with sympathy and I always feel compelled to explain that we did it on purpose.

Might be from your IUD (that's what you have right? lol).

Anna, you don't need to explain yourself other than a smile and say, "isn't it great they'll be so close in age?!"

I hate people who feel the need to comment like that. Like it's any of their business anyways.

I don't think pity is the right response. I mean, they must understand that woman now have the power to control such things, right? Shock and awe is the proper response. As in, "Wow, they'll be 18 months apart? You are one exceptionally brave lady and a super dedicated mama!" Part of me would want my kids to be that close in age but another part screams no. I'd love to have them close in age when they're older than about 4. However, our current circumstances would make having another right now pretty darn miserable. If I were a SAHM, I'd be all on the baby train. Wink I think the tight age gap will make things ever so slightly more difficult for the first year and then it'll be a serious bonus from there on out.

In other news, I think it was a false alarm. Nothing since yesterday morning. Now I'm kinda freaking out about it being implantation bleeding! My IUD is known to cause spotting but everything I've read says it goes away a few months after insertion. I had it inserted nearly a year ago. Its supposed to be better than BCPs but I know at least 3 women who've gotten pregnant using the same IUD I'm using. I REALLY hope that's not the case. If I am pregnant, we'd make it work and I'd be very happy but there's a good chance the IUD would cause me to miscarry.

Wow Erin. I really hope this isn't the case. Not that another child wouldn't be a blessing, but I do know there are real dangers to the pregnancy and the woman's fertility if a pregnancy occurs with an IUD. Maybe it was just a precurser to full on AF. PP AF can be really wonky. If you'll recall my cycles were 60 days long after AF came back. Maybe instead of being extra heavy yours was just a bit of spotting. When will you POAS?

I'll POAS if I start having other PG symptoms. Otherwise, I'll just cool it on the alcohol. I'm the opposite of a POAS-aholic. I'm a POAS avoider. Wink

Erin, my first PPAF was barely more than spotting for a couple of days. With the IUD that may be all you get for awhile.
