Olympimania!!

Who's watching the Olympics? What do you think so far? Is your LO watching it with you? If so, what's his/her favorite sport?

We're glued to the TV. I liked the opening ceremony. It was no Beijing but it wasn't a disappointment either. I'm always excited to watch the parade of nations and I was so pleased to see that this is the first year that every nation has female athletes and that women outnumber men on the US team. Go vaginas! I really like watching the cycling this year. Why ever would that be? ;) We're letting Teagan watch (can't really stop her since its on all day) and she doesn't really care for the most part. She's watching synchronized diving with DH right now and LOVING it. She's sitting on top of the couch, counting to three then jumping down. I give her a perfect 10!

Aiden could care less about the Olympics though he did watch some women's beach volleyball earlier today. Ha ha. I keep it on when DH isn't around. The man turned it off at 8pm saying he was done and I'd seen enough. Ugh. The man loves to play sports, just not watch them! I'm grateful most of the time for this fact, but not right now!!! The man better get over it bc I WILL watch team gymnastics!!! :brucelee:
I really enjoyed the sync women's diving tonight. I also liked the women's team rowing this afternoon.

I've had them on quite a bit as DH & DD are gone for the weekend! DS has been watching some of it with me. I've enjoyed the volleyball and swimming!!

I try to turn it on as much as possible. I really enjoy swimming, diving and gymnastics. DD1 loves the gymnastics. Lainey doesn't really notice the TV, she just copies whatever DD1 is doing.

I don't have tv. :( I would totally be watching if I did! Addy would love it.

We've tried watching it online on the NBC website. We're so mad. They keep saying its all available online but you have to have a subscription to cable or satellite to view a lot of it. So F-ing lame.

Watched a bit of it. DS1 is really into women's weight lifting which is a bit strange.

I'll be the odd one out, we aren't watchung any and are not likely to seek anything out to watch just be bombarded with all the stuff on news shows etc about it. I really couldn't care less, none of the sports really interest me enough to seek them out to watch
