It's going well! Adair is nearly 100% on pee, especially as long as we remind her about every 30-60 minutes...we're down to occasional, random minor leaks but I don't even really think twice about taking her out and about anymore, which is awesome (those first few diaperless car trips were scary--I hate washing car seats!) She's also doing okay on poop, although we're still working out a few kinks on that part...modifying her diet to help her go to about once or twice a day instead of 3-6 times is definitely helping, as is me learning her new "schedule".
But the most exciting part is that she's waking up completely dry almost every morning, even without taking away her sippy. (WHEW) As long as I make sure she's not downing drinks left and right in the evening, she is able to hold it just fine from about 8-5, and even comes and snuggles in our bed for a while before going to the potty and is STILL dry. I think she had one wet diaper in the last week. SOOOO...today is 3 weeks, and I'm really hoping to turn one more corner on the self-initiating in the next few days, and if THAT happens then I think I'll be ready to say potty trainED instead of potty trainING. Understanding that accidents will still occasionally happen, of course, but...YAY! Still recommend that book, for sure
