I love seeing all the LO's rooms!
Here's Teagan's room. I actually don't have many recent photos and we've made a few changes but this is more or less what it looks like.
Starting from the door and going round ...
In this pic of the western wall you can see the tree wall sticker. We've since stored that rug in the shed until T's completely accident free. There's small toy chest behind Teagan that FIL made for her.
On the southern wall there is a big bookcase that we had made and that I stained. The shelves are the colors of the rainbow. All T's books are on there as well as some random small crap on the top shelf. Next to that is a small shelf that DH made a long time ago.
Her bed is in the corner. As you can see, toys get shoved in any little corner they can find. I freaking love that quilt. Got it on Etsy.
The east wall is green. We have a set of alphabet wall stickers on the green wall now. We've also replaced that black dresser. She now has a dresser that we had made at the same time as the bookshelf. The body is stained a natural color and the drawer faces are the colors of the rainbow. That corner otherwise looks pretty much the same now except there's another storage bin under the hanging storage thingy. I painted that butterfly thing that's hanging over the light switch when I was in 7th grade.
I painted her ceiling fan a year or so ago. Its supposed to be the "sun" in the room and has little dragonfly stencils on it. Poor dragonflies, flying into the sun.
The overall theme, if there is one, is nature. Lots of color. I've tried to keep it pretty gender neutral since she'll be sharing it with Sprog.
Sarah, that is a very cute little boy room.
Erin, I love the rainbow stuff you have going on. Not even really disturbed by the suicidal dragonflies.:p
I love the idea for the shelves, i might have to paint Ronin's new bookshelf. I love the wardrobe nook as well with the change table, thats a greart set up.
Haha! I'm totally going to start calling it her "wardrobe nook" instead of "closet with no doors". None of our closets had doors on them when we moved in and we've just left them off. It creates a lot more room having the change table in there. I want to get the change table out of there to give her even more room but I have no where to store it between now and when Sprog arrives.
Addy's closet door is always open anyway--it's a really annoying closet because it's actually pretty big but the door is tiny so you can't really access 75% of it  But if you made the doorway bigger, you'd lose wall space in an already tiny room. I like the idea of putting the dresser IN that space, though. Hmmmmmmmm....
Aiden's closet has a 2nd small dresser in it where I organize clothes that are too big. I have basic stuff through 5T already. lol. I also have a bunch of extra crap shoved in there. So I have one of those door knob covers on it to keep him out!
It's lace. It's a really old dresser that I hate with a passion and it was a very ugly brown (used to be DH's). I painted it black, let that dry and then I put lace over the top and the drawer fronts (taped down on the sides) and spray painted pink over the lace. I let it dry a bit before taking the lace off and that was the end result. I was pretty pleased with how it turned out, but I still hate the dresser. The middle drawer sticks and it's like a war to open and close it.
