Hey - I never really used carriers/slings with either of my kids, but just made a purchase for a carseat canopy for my SIL and received a coupon code for a free (plus shipping I'm assuming) baby sling from https://www.****************/content/home.
Any experience with these?
If they are nice, I'm thinking of purchasing one since we are TTC #3 and figure I could sure use my hands free if/when baby #3 comes along
Personally, I find that kind of sling almost impossible to use with a newborn--they're just too floppy, and you can't adjust the sling, so they end up just kind of slumping down in there. However, they are nice for hip carries with older infants and toddlers (like most of the pictures show), and even buddha carries with older infants who can hold up their own head. For the cost of shipping, might be nice to just have on hand.
I agree that being hands free with 3 would be a huge help, though!
Pass on it. It's plain thin cotton (no give in any direction) with a print on one side. Soooo not comfortable. I got one and used it once with Aiden. If I hadn't know about other carriers (and owned a moby already then) I would have thought BWing was pointless. My shoulder hurt after 5 minutes and he was a small baby! Also, you have to buy the right size and their sizing chart is not accurate for most people IMO.
If you want a one shoulder carry for baby #3 when that happens, get a ring sling from Anna's etsy shop or Sleeping Baby Productions. One size fits most (there are "sizes" just because some people like a long tail and others like short tails hanging down) and can be used from birth through toddlerhood.
ETA: Although one of their small ones would probably work well as a doll carrier for kids.
ITA. Honestly never used one like that but if I couldn't adjust a sling type one then it would be pointless IMO. I like making mine fit my body perfectly not just kinda close.

I agree with all the above. I will say for my personal opinion, I LOOOOVE my Moby wrap for little bitty babies! Noah will sleep so long in the wrap but it's not good to nurse on the go in so there's that.
