30 minutes ago I put Aiden down for a nap. Kicked the cat out of his room. lol. Then I water my plants outside, put up clean dishes, washed dishes, and started a load of CDs. Now I'm sitting down and eatings scrambled eggs with cheese, spinach, and tomato. Yum!

i just sent her a message asking. she wanted to have a home birth, but i don't know if she is actually going to go through with it or not. she is very laid back so doesn't get freaked out if things don't go as planned. unless she has a c-section. i know she def doesn't want that.

Argh! I've been waiting for months to do an experiment. I had planned to do it today but the guy who is supposed to help me didn't show up. Lesson learned. Never trust a postdoc.

So much for getting work done today!

how is Teagan's hunger strike going? i think we may be getting there. he has started throwing a fit over everything but bread

She's doing better day by day. I've been avoiding giving her any cheese except if it's integrated in what I've made in a way that I can't do much about it. She's still not eating much but at least she's trying things again. Last night she ate peas! I think the BTDT moms are dead on when they say not to give in to their demands for a particular food at this age. Food still isn't an important source of nutrition so its best to do what we can to avoid setting them up to be picky eaters by just giving them what they want. I've just been giving her what we eat every day. I send stuff to daycare that I KNOW she won't eat. Day by day she's eating a little more. She was even refusing yogurt for a little while (she used to guzzle yogurt) but she's back to eating it well.

i just put lucas down for another nap. i am here. trying to figure out my ring sling, but i am here lol.

i have been giving him stuff he ate fine before. he is not outright refusing, he just takes a bite and then acts like he is starving and nothing is there for him to eat. sometimes he takes a bite and throws it on the floor. he had some lime today and seemed to like that for a little bit. i was a really picky eater as a kid, i guess we will see.

Our records show your household has reached 75% of the 95 GB monthly usage allowance provided with your Rogers Hi-Speed Internet Extreme service.

You will receive another notification when you reach 100% of your monthly usage allowance.

haha, well apparently according to Rogers it is very high. i have never seen that message before so i don't know what would use it up. DH plays a lot of video games online though which i am sure has something to do with it. I'll blame him!! at least there are only 3 days left before the month is over.

omg that looks awesome. can you sleep in that???

well, since it is for until age 10 you will have many years to use it, and Clara can get in on it too.

we used to "camp out" on our trampoline so I'd suppose you can "camp out" just about anywhere. I really hope I can talk him into something like this. We tried the park thing again today and Clara just got so darn hot and didn't want to be in the stroller (which I'm sure makes it a bazillion times hotter) and got grouchy quick. And trying to tear DS away was horrible, even with DD1 there to help.

ROFL I can't jump DH. He called me up and told me that we're going to the O Club for dinner. Apparently it's mongolian BBQ night!

So I've fed myself and DS lunch. Hung diapers out to dry. Did more dishes. Played around with Pinterest A LOT. Got an email from a close college friend who I haven't heard from in a year! (Boy do we have a lot of catch up on! lol) Played chase the baby.

And now I just realize that I forgot to take a shower so far today. Guess I should do that before going to dinner.

....AND OH MY! The kid is in the walker and managed to grab his diaper pail and drag it down the hall and into the bathroom!!!!

If a splash pad is a community pool then yes we do have one. hmmm....I don't know about taking him there though. That place really grosses me out. The management has gone down hill in recent years, I don't know if anyone goes there anymore.

Christa, kinda sometimes they are near pools. it is more like this

some are fancier then others but he could run around and play and keep cool at the same time.

oh and for the usage, you can go over you just have to pay extra.

All public pools gross me out. I used to swim in them, but as I've gotten older they seem really disgusting. For my great-nephew's 1st birthday at their apt. complex SIL and some others thought it would be great for Lyla to go in the pool. Ummmm NO! She drinks any water she is around, bath, pool, whatever. There were a bunch of MUCH older kids all over that nasty body fluid soup, and MY fat a$$ isn't getting in a pool anytime soon and if I'm not going in, Lyla sure ain't going without me!

I don't mind the base pool, but I refuse to go to the lake or river here where the locals go to swim. Those are gross to me.

Not another one. This is the formal offer for the one I was talking about the other day. His parents are being real negative Nancy's about the whole thing. They think he should be happy with his $20,000/yr job working outdoors in road construction in the Texas weather because he gets to come home every night. Or if he needs to make more money he should find a better paying job like a local oil hauler or something. The problem with the tanker driving is that it's still 12+ hours a day, 6 days a week and he'd never see Lyla then either, not to mention it wouldn't pay what this will. Let's not forget the highly explosive fuel he'd be hauling!

We've talked about this very extensively. This allows me to be a SAHM and will set us up financially in a way that we've never had before.

that's unfortunate. (his parents) ultimately you guys will be the ones that it affects so you need to do what is right for you. it will be a big change for you all, but i think great in the long run.

I'm awake. Damn Ronin is cranky in the morning it takes him less than 5 minutes to realise I'm not there before he starts screaming. The he wants to be all over me all morning. This kid needs to learn to sleep better, I am lucky if he gets 10-12 hours sleep all up in a day, and 12 hours would be a day with good naps., it probably averages closer to 10 hours. I am so freaking tired. I have spare time right now because he is comuning with his greatest love, boobie.
