    Default RQOT Weekend - 10/7

Have you started putting away/giving away/throwing away/selling your LOs baby toys? Not talking about the bouncer, swing, etc, but rather the rattles, squeak toys, crinkly books, plastic keys, and such.

I haven't put away any of those things yet! I was just going through Aiden's toys this afternoon and set aside a lot of those types of things, but I can't bring myself to put them away for the next kid - what if he misses them?! I know, I'm being silly. lol.

Ronin still plays with all his toys. I use his teething keys in the car because then he will let go of my keys and he has a rattle in the car, he generally throws it straight away but it keeps him amused while I strap him in. I just have his toys in the toybox and rotate them around, often we can repurpose things for his current devlopment, I have some foam blocks which before were just quooshy play things now they build towers and I match the designs and we will work towards Ronin matching them idependantly.

I haven't put them away yet, but I should start thinning the herd. I'm keeping the stuff for another year or so until we make the official decision on whether or not a #3 will exist.

i've put away some of the really young stuff that he isn't really interested in anymore. He doesn't really want rattles or things like that unless they light up or make a lot of noise. Unfortunately all his toys now are big so they take up more room then the little ones lol.

We haven't really put them away as much as they've worked their way down into the bottom of Teagan's toy pile. Hey, out of sight out of mind.

I'm a weirdo and if I can find anywhere out of the way to put, toys in their room, than I keep them out. I have gotten rid of the missing parts and broken toys when we moved but everything else its staying until I find something else to take its place.

He had a few things that dangle over your head when the baby in blob stage. I gave them to charity a couple of months ago. I've still got all his baby toys out but he never plays with them. A few I can sell but most I will just give away. He'd rather play with DS1's toy cars now

Yeah, I finally packed up last night those "blob" baby toys and the soft rattles he ignores. I also moved around his toys (put living room toys in his bedroom and vise versa), and he's playing with toys he's been ignoring! Plus I have room for a few new things he'll be getting for his birthday.

A lot of the toys my kids have were hand-me-downs that I didn't even necessarily want, they were just given to me. They play w/ a few, but I recently threw a lot away that were in not-so-great shape and boxed up a bunch more to give to charity. I just haven't gotten around to taking it yet. And I'm about to go through their toy box and get rid of more that they never play with!
