My favorite is The Lion King. We have a digital copy of it, but that's it.

My husband's favorite children's movie is Beauty and the Beast. We do own that one on Blu Ray. It was the first Blu Ray movie my husband bought! lol.

When I was little it was the Little Mermaid, Goonies, Little Monsters and even though it's not exactly a kids movie, the Princess Bride. I swear I watched Princess Bride until the VHS wore out (do you younger ladies know what VHS is? ;)). As for newer movies, I could watch the Emperor's New Groove about a million times (goodness, that one came out when some of you WERE kids).

Jackie, can we do favorite cartoons tomorrow?!? That'll really show my age Wink

OOOOO, Rainbow Bright!!!! I had a Rainbow Brite doll and also a Starlite horsey doll!!! I LOVED that show!! Murky Dismal and the sprites.

Oh, flashbacks.

Punky Brewster or The Smurfs, anyone?!

Back to the question at hand. I cannot answer it. I collect (or I used to collect, now it's more like I just pick up a movie here and there) Disney Movies. DH's alltime fave is The Jungle Book (the original animated one). I'd have to say, my all time fave is probably Beauty & The Beast, but 2nd runner up is probably The Fox and The Hound.

has to be the Lion King.

DS watches kids films all day. ATM he's into Gnomeo and Juilet (don't know if you got that film over the pond) It's actually really funny Smile

The Goonies and The Labrynth for sure!!!!

Apparently when I was about 3 I grabbed a big chunk of my hair and snipped myself bangs. I then went downstairs and proclaimed to my family "Now I am Rainbow Brite!" Lol

And those two as well.

My favourite movie ever, Mary Poppins, we would go to the video shop which had two copies and I would return one copy to hire out the other every week. My parents recorded it off tv for me, twice because I wore out the tapes. I now have it on DVD and tried to get Ronin interested but he wouldn't be in it. I also love the Lion King and Beuaty and the Beast. The first movie I went to see at cinemas was Snow White, my aunty took me.

Have you seen Ponyo? You would probably like that one too.

I can NOT choose a favorite. Don't make me do it. Here are my top ten:

Little Mermaid
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
Lion King
Beauty and the Beast
Cinderella
Up
Drop Dead Fred
Wall-E
Toy Story
Black Beauty

Guess what? Netflix has the Rainbow Brite movie (Rainbow Brite and the Star Stealer - yes, I watched it only 5,000 times as a child Lol on instant download! I watched it with Lily not too long ago. Actually I watched it, Lily wasn't even really interested at the time, haha! We have also watched the Care Bears Movie. But her current favorite is the My Little Pony Movie. She asks for it constantly! My sister had it on DVD so we borrowed (ahem - stole ;)) it from her. Biggrin

Love both of these! I also love Howl's Moving Castle.

I pretty much love all children's movies, but my current favorites are the ones that my DD watches over and over right now: Monster's Inc, Toy Story, and now Tangled.
