We are sitting at home. Hubby is working and I have told him if the guys he works with want him to go out after work or anything to go. Ronin and I will probably watch some tv and hope the neighbours don't have a loud party again, or else we may go squish into the nursery to sleep

Resolutions
1. Do something to get fitter and hopfully lose weight and tone up
2.Hopefully get pregnant/ have the finaces to have another baby
3.Get work under control.

We just learned today that there's a thing downtown. From 5-8pm they're doing train rides, magic shows, games, face painting, and more inside some exhibit hall. There's even iceskating around the corner! At 8pm they're doing firework over the river (I didn't even realize there was a river here.)

After that we're just going to put Aiden to bed. DH and I bought a bottle of sweet sparkling wine to share. We'll probably watch a bad movie and play cards (I just bought UNO). Wild night. Wink

I actually have very exciting New Year's Eve plans. After (if) Rowan goes to sleep, Dh and I are going to have a bottle of wine and discuss our expenses for last year and create our budget for next year. We're also going to plan our next round of home repairs and decide what to plant in our garden. It's going to be spectacular. I know you are all extraordinarily jealous of my exciting life.

Resolutions: Get pregnant; get a job. Not necessarily in that order.

Oh my the excitement, how will you handle it Smile At least there is wine involved, I should think about maybe getting some, even though I am not supposed to drink while on call, but a glass (maybe two if I go crazy) of bubbly should be ok.

Getting the kids to bed and hanging out will DH is about as exciting as our New Years Plans have been in 6 years...lol. We still get part invites but no one wants to see my kids from 8pm to 1am.

No resolutions. Still toying with the idea of cutting that 10 inches off my hair and donating it for the New Year.

Do it, I'm planning on it sometime next year. We have to have a min of 12inches to donate here.

i don't really do resolutions, but i want to exercise more and lose about 36 pounds, get off my bp pills (i sound like a broken record!) and not get involved in any family drama. I just want to try and be a better person and i am glad for a new start. I will be happy when the year is over

We're going to a Rockband NYE party at a good friend's house! YAY!! We'll set up Simon's playpen in a bedroom upstairs and he can just sleep there. He probably wont go to bed on time, but if he's up past 9, he'll pretty much fall asleep anywhere so it should be good. Then the drinking and singing will commence!!! Biggrin

My resolution is to lose weight....and LOTS of it. I want to get to a weight I know I'd be comfortable with getting pg again, since I REALLY need to convince DH that we need another. Lol

We're going to have my brother over, have snacks, drink champagne, play board games and watch movies. It's very laid back and low key, we typically all wear PJs. After all the Christmas holiday craziness, that's all I can handle.

I don't really make resolutions, but goals for the year. My goals are to eat better, exercise more, get the house organized and start decorating it like we actually live here, and work harder at saving money.

Can that actually be done? I've heard rumors but I've never actually seen it IRL with children in the house.

Well originally our plans were to watch bad TV while sitting on the couch and watch the ball drop on TV, if we make it that far before falling asleep. Plans have changed. Now I will be watching bad TV and watching the ball drop on TV while DH goes to a bar down the street to play guitar for a friend of his who threw a band together to play a NYE gig there. So DH will be gone from 9p - 1a, so I will very likely be asleep when he gets home. This will be the first in in years that we haven't been together at midnight on NYE, but oh well.

No resolutions for me.

We always go out to eat. Then come home. Since our anniversary is the 15th we usually do something special then.
No resolutions. I never keep them.

I have a resolution this year that I think I can keep.. which is to lose weight, keep running and possibly maybe run a half marathon by the summer. Im up to 6 so I only need 7 more.. ha.. With that I have a goal of going to the gym at least 4 days a week in January, then whatever I can until March and then outside running after that..This is my plan, goal but who knows..

Tomorrow night we are going to Iciban with a few friends. It should be fun, and then Im not sure what we do after..

ROFL Actually with just the kids it's not too bad but when DH is home it's like someone turned the house upside down and shook it. I don't know what he does!! And DS1 starts pre school on Wednesday so that 15 hours a week with just one baby!!
