Have you started shopping for Christmas yet? If not, when do you plan to?

I have not started shopping for Christmas. My husband and I don't exchange gifts other than PJs on Christmas Eve, so not worried about him. Aiden will get stuff off of his birthday wish list, so he's easy. The only other people I ever buy gifts for are our parents and my grandmother. No idea what we're going to do for them other than I'll probably get them all copies of Aiden's first year photo book when I finish that. Everyone else just gets a Christmas card, and I'll probably do a photo card again this year.

ugh, we used to have like 20 people to buy for, but we cut it back a little last year and i hope we do the same this year. Instead of buying for all the adults on DH's side last year we just bought for the kids, but SIL made us all homemade treats. I think that is a good idea instead. Normally I start shopping in Sept/Oct because of all the people but this year I am going to wait until I go back to work and get proper paychecks again so I will say end of Oct early nov i will start this year.

No, but I am thinking about it only becuase of the cash! I usually only buy for about 6 people on my moms side, but we always buy for everyone on my dh side.. I feel obligated to buy them really nice things since they do the same, and I Hate it.. We dont have the money to spend like that. They usually do the saving programs throughout the year so they do huge Christmas!! .. Im more for the the family time and the thought.. I am still looking for a part time job, so hopefully I will get one and be able to save some money for that..

I'll probably start in October after back to work as well when I have real money!

It's not 2 weeks before Christmas, so no, not started yet. Smile

DH and I take a Friday and Saturday and go stay down in St. Louis and try to do all of our Christmas shopping those two days and we do pretty good. LOL!

I do keep a list hidden here in the house of ideas I have throughout the year for presents for people.

That's me! I always think, oh yeah, this year, I'll start in October and have it pretty much wrapped up by December. It never happens! Now, it's almost like a joke when I have that thought Smile

Christmas shopping for Ronin is done unless I pick up a few small things for his santa sack, but big present and a few small items are done. The rest of the family I have no idea, I might bake something. It also depends if I go up for the big family Christmas, but hubby will probably be working and I feel bad taking Ronin away from him on Christmas day. For us Christmas will just turn into any other day because of hubby working.

Yeah, no. It sounds like a good idea to me but I'm not that on top of things.

I haven't purposefully started Christmas shopping, and typically don't until around Thanksgiving. That said, I do have a few small gifts and stocking stuffers for my girls and my nephews. That's just because I've seen a couple of cute things and bought them.
