I love the nostrils on yours!! I totally did not have the right tools to do what I wanted to with mine, but I'm pretty happy with how it came out in the end, all things considered (mine's the Wallace and Gromit looking one on the right). Next year I might have to invest in a couple of more flexible instruments. A paring knife does not make curves very well.
I made the nostrils with an Allen wrench.I was trying with the paring knife but I gave up and went looking for something.
Love them!!! Leigh, we cut our little pie pumpkin and it was a pain, but we used the little pumpkin saw instead of a knife and it was much easier. really nasty and stringy inside though so I just used one of those fake LED lights instead of a candle.
ya, we used a spoon. I am a wimp and he is too young to get them all out himself
this is the best i could get of him in his costume. he wanted nothing to do with that tiger and kept throwing it and yelling "NO" lol. any other day he can't stop kissing it.

Oh my to the costume Janice! lol
Halloween was a HUGE hit here! Aiden loved it and did fantastic. He refused to say trick or treat till we were done and back home. He said halloween twice. And we got him to say thank you to one out of 5 houses. Not bad for the age and the fact that he's not much into talking!
Sorry they're huge. PB hates me again, so they're off of FB.
My favorite pic from Sunday night when we carved the pumpkin.

He did great with the face paint. He loved watching me put it on him (sat him on the bathroom counter facing the mirror lol) and then he surprisingly left it alone!
That's great! I only painted a nose and whiskers on Adair, but she loved it. I think maybe we'll give the face painting a shot at the Dia de los Muertos Little Angels parade this weekend...
As for pics, mine all came out pretty bad. I'll wait for Erin to post hers--they had a nice camera, and I was just using my phone.
Well, here's one she posted. My favorite of my happy little tiger!
