Anyone else's LO's going through this right now? He's always been pretty clingy but he's happy to be with anyone else during the day. But when I out him to bed/nap he cries for me. He's also started waking up in the night crying for me. for the first night I thought something was wrong so I went and rocked him but he cried even more when I put him down so I've just been leaving him to cry (it's like a pathetic wimper, not the forgetting to breath scream )
I just feel awful for him. I know he's not been well but he was getting better before he forgot how to sleep. I don't understand

The last few weeks have been rough. I've been having to hide in the house to get any studying done on the weekends. She'll wander around banging on doors yelling Maaaaammmmmaaaaa in her most pitiful voice. Its the only time she says mama . DH has to pull some pretty wicked tricks to keep her distracted. Night time has been pretty horrendous as well. She's been waking up every 2 hours in her room so I've just been bringing her into our room when she wakes up. Last night she decided to torture me from 2-6am. She finally quit bothering me at 6, I got up at 7 and she slept in until 8:30. Ugh.
So, no advice. Sorry. Just know you're not alone.
Lyla has been doing this too. She wants to be with me all the time and if I stand up and walk anywhere in the house or do anything, she demands to be held. For about 3 or 4 days now she's wanted nothing to do with even DH and gets mad if I hand her to DH.
Aiden follows me everywhere around the house (well, TLF now). It's like a have a second shadow. He gets upset if I leave him while he's awake. He's still not used to this daddy person being back at all.
And yeah, we're dealing with nightly wake ups but DH is taking most of them right now b/c if I go to him he starts asking to nurse and gets angry if I refuse. *sigh*
That stage just passed for us. Fingers crossed over here that it doesn't return because its no fun. Hope it passes quickly for you.

Yah, if I'm in sight then she wants me. She has been having a rough time at night here too.....I'm sure it has to do with her new confidence in walking everywhere and almost running now...plus thos darn molars coming in. She has huge bumps on her gums...I wish they would break through already.
Juliet is bad when she is teething. At home there is oly me, and at daycare there is only one care giver she will accept. It is rough and exhausting.
Thank God she is only missing a molar or two.
God gave Joseph his sister Juliet on November 19th, 2010.
