    Default Shots!:0)

Josie had all of her 1YO shots yesterday...both legs and arms...she only cried for a few seconds...they couldn't believe it...lol!
She is a bit bow legged...but she has been walking since 9 months...so I don't think (and they don't think) that anything is wrong...they said it will work out.
She is getting her top 2 teeth (bottom 2 are in)...
    she has diaper rash...grr...
    Nothing new other than that...lol...

Lyla cried for a LONG time when she got her shots. That's impressive that she took it that well. Sounds like she is just doing really great! Lyla is just now getting over a very serious diaper rash. I hate those things!

First I had to stop using the baby wipes because she would tremble and cry in pain, so I started using cloth diapers moistened with warm water to clean her. Other than that I just did very frequent diaper changes. I could tell when she peed though because she would stop whatever she was doing and cry. I made her baths extra long and just let her soak in it a while. My mom was always a firm believer in the soak. Then it was naked play time for a good while to let it dry completely. Before I put her diaper on I would put on a really thick layer of Desitin maximum strength and then put on an overnight diaper. I strongly believe that Lyla's diaper rash is the result of whole milk, so I'm going to not give it to her for a while longer. Every time she gets whole milk she gets a bad diaper rash very suddenly about 4 or 5 hours later.

What is your rash remedy? I'm always looking for ways to get rid of it quicker. This last one was really bad with oozing blisters and all.

Sounds like a good appointment! I hope the diaper rash clears up quickly.

My BFFs hubby is a dermatologist...he said for the one she had hydro cortozone 3x and desitin, frequent diaper changes, etc.
We also let her air out...lol. but had to quit when she pee'd on the floor and my 5YO slipped in it... oops!
